Best Western Premier Richmond City Gateway

"Best Western Premier Richmond City Gateway is located just off of I-95 a few miles south of downtown Richmond in an industrial area that includes a sprawling Philip Morris complex and a large Amazon warehouse. I found the hotel and its grounds to be fairly clean and well kept. The staff was friendly in my limited interactions with employees. The complimentary breakfast was decent. My room was clean. The room was relatively spacious and had a mini fridge as well as a microwave. Options for walking in the vicinity of the hotel are fairly limited due to the industrial nature of the neighborhood. I was not sure what to expect when I booked my stay at this property, but I was positively impressed. I would likely stay here again the next time I pass through Central Virginia. Thank you very much to the hotel owners and staff for keeping things clean!"

"Terrific location; enormous, comfortable rooms (especially the “roomy” suites). The suites are great for socializing. Beautiful rooms and very well appointed, decorated, and updated. The staff was excellent. The only downside is that it’s an old property that seems to have mold/mildew issues (you can smell it and even see it on the window frames)."

"Stay was nice, easy to find, check in was quick. There’s a bar/restaurant in the lobby. I ordered a shot of tequila and ordered tenders/tots. No complaints with bar, but the food was “meh”. Room was clean, overall good stay."

"We had a delightful 12 night stay here as we explored Richmond and Virginia at large. Happy, helpful staff, nice in-hotel dining option, and a quiet, comfortable, expansive room. Location is steps away from food, shopping, the canal walk, dining options, museums, and other tourist attractions. Easy access to highways and the airport too. Great price as well. Highly recommended!"
