"The property was very clean, cozy and exactly as advertised. Jose was very responsive to all emails and flexible with our checkin/checkout times. The house is walking distance to 3 restaurants. We enjoyed two meals at Joseph's beach bar/restaurant Praia Moinhos. It is literally steps from the house and located on the beach. Our weather was rough but, Jose has a fireplace and everything we needed to build a cozy fire and play cards with our grandsons. I would love to stay here again during the Summer months and enjoy all of the decks of the house and more time of the beautiful beach."

The love he has for his place and his genuine kind demeanor and interest in people makes for a great stay. He went above and beyond, securing reservations, suggesting hikes, and welcoming us to his property. The grounds are incredible and the cabins are exactly as depicted in the materials provided online. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Azores. Location was perfect for exploring the island. Always felt like coming home when the day ended."
