"the houses were looking lovely on the internet and the house itself was clean and well maintained but it is more a hotel of value of 200 /300 reales per night. no more. the bed was cheap and terrible. the sheets were as thin as they could possible be and we didn't feel comfortable when we entered the room and found blood spatters on the wall and curtains. this doesn't fill one with confidence "

I didn’t like the small unlit sign at the road, the dirty driveway is in poor conditions, no visibility on top of the hill plus big potholes, the property sits at a steep angle to the ocean requiring big steps stairs to access the room or the pool. "We came to Brazil for a family members wedding in Rio and booked an extra week in the Angra area to explore the natural beauty of the coast and islands. This house was an absolute dream to stay in with floor to ceiling windows and indoor-outdoor space that made the most of the gorgeous location. All the rooms are suites with their own bathroom and the family-room and deck are extremely open and comfortable for large groups to be together or doing their own thing. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to create (or just enjoy) corner meals. Aline took fabulous care of us and we had her cook for us on 2 days. They were the best meals we had in Brazil. This is the kind of place I would build to enjoy with my family if I had unlimited funds. Great to enjoy it for a week with extended family"
