If you're looking for a lot of bells and whistles, this isn't the place for you. You get a room, bed(s), and shower facilities that are clean and comfortable. Decor is slightly "dated" but I don't need to have the latest tile, furniture, or carpet. I'm there to see Germany and visit family.
The continental breakfast was plentiful: rolls, sliced bread, soft-boiled eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, fruits, yogurts, and cereal. Tea, Coffee, and Juices. The "breakfast window" was great - until 10 am - as I'm not always an early riser.
The staff is friendly.
There is ample parking next to the hotel.
Some additional notes....
- There appears to be a bar in the hotel but it wasn't open during my stay in December. (Maybe its open during spring/summer?)
- There's no restaurant in the hotel but there's a great Croatian Restaurant next door. I ate there twice and enjoyed a simple, reasonably priced dinner. And the aperatif that they give you with the bill is YUMMY! They do not accept American Credit Cards so be prepared with cash. (This is not uncommon in Germany. Read the travel sites.)
- There are two grocery stores within walking distance: Aldi and S-Checkin Center. I believe there was a mini bar in the room but no refrigerator or microwave.
