This stylish apartment provides a pristine, hotel style haven with all the comfort and space needed for relaxing and unwinding and making the most of a typically English seaside escape. The fantastic location means you are a stones throw from the beach, and within a few minutes walk of all the shops, restaurants and other amenities that Southwold has to offer. The Cannons holds an independent 4 \*\*\*\* rating with Visit England. It is situated on the first floor and forms part of Suffolk House and can be booked together with The Pier, The Blyth and or The Lighthouse. Please note that The Cannons also has a sofa bed, travel cot and high chair. No empty cupboard space for guests foodstuffs.The armchair had a bad stain on the seat cushion when it was turned over it was covered in dog hairs. The chair smelt of dog we do not have a dog and found it very off putting. There was no vaccuum for us to clean the chair. The rug needs replacing or shampooing.The beautiful large sash windows rattled in the windy weather they had pieces of wood and plastic wedged in them but still rattled. The guttering over the 2nd bedroom is blocked.The cental Heating timer needs adjusting came on at 3.30am The apartment was bright and welcoming ideal decoration for the seaside. The property is a two minute walk to the beach and five minutes to the high street, making it an ideal base to explore what the town had to offer. I chose it because of its open plan layout with no stairs once in the apartment and not too many doors. It turned out to be a perfect space for all of us. The bedrooms are large enough to accommodate a cot and having a separate bath and shower room meant that all needs were catered for. It is in a fabulous location with the seafront at the bottom of the road, the town centre a short walk away , a good kiddies playground close by and we managed to find street parking right outside the front door.I would recommend this property. ##### Sarah G. Neighbours can be noisy early/ late, coming and going as the front door slams and noise travels up the walls as does the noise from people coming up and down the stairs. The baking trays, as per a review a while back, are in need of replacement and are a breeding ground for germs! Avoid or take your own. Bed linen was crisp and clean and beds were comfy. Plenty of sofas and rooms were nice and airy although Patch on living room wall needs filling and painting! Overall it suited our needs and was well priced for what was provided. ##### Maria A.
