You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for. We paid 75 dollars a night, I would not pay more then that.
Staff was fine, friendly enough but not thrilled to be there. The room cleanliness was by far the lowest rating, the carpets are old and gross but to make them worse they weren't vacuumed well enough. Our 2 year old found old pills on the floor from not being vacuumed up by the previous guest.
There are little inconveniences around the room, there is no tub faucet or plug it can only be used as a shower, not great for kids, many appliances (fridge, tv, lamp, microwave) plugged into one outlet with an extension cord that didn't work, poor lighting, hardly any cleaning products or glassware.
It isn't a total dive the location and parking make up for the amenities and they gave us a free pool pass. Revelstoke pool is an amazing facility.
With some serious love their hotel could be a real gem.
