Clearly a skiers retreat

Posted 21-Mar-2017
This hotel offers relatively low cost skiers accomodations. In general it was acceptable. It mostly had a crowd in the 20-40 yo range, occasionally noisy, but not really a problem. The room was 4/5 clean.

ski bums unite

Hotel was fine, welcome relief from carcamping. Cheap restaurant within complex and near the rec center.

You get what you pay for

Posted 17-Mar-2017
You get what you pay for. We paid 75 dollars a night, I would not pay more then that. Staff was fine, friendly enough but not thrilled to be there. The room cleanliness was by far the lowest rating, the carpets are old and gross but to make them worse they weren't vacuumed well enough. Our 2 year old found old pills on the floor from not being vacuumed up by the previous guest. There are little inconveniences around the room, there is no tub faucet or plug it can only be used as a shower, not great for kids, many appliances (fridge, tv, lamp, microwave) plugged into one outlet with an extension cord that didn't work, poor lighting, hardly any cleaning products or glassware. It isn't a total dive the location and parking make up for the amenities and they gave us a free pool pass. Revelstoke pool is an amazing facility. With some serious love their hotel could be a real gem.

Was in revelstoke for a couple of days for skiing. Hotel is well situated in the center of town. Walking distance to many restaurants. hotel is a little old, needs a good face lift, but okay for the $$. Only needed a place to sleep. Shuttle buss passes close by. Would recommend if your looking for a place to sleep, but not for a romantic weekend

Smells awful. But really the problem is the super grumpy front desk lady. They had screwed up our reservation and basically rude and unhelpful.

Cheap accommodations but adequate for a ski trip.

Very nice helpful staff. Convenient location in the middle of the town. Not much atmosphere but if you are not spending much time in the hotel it is just fine. The room is clean and comfortable. It is an old hotel.

Hotel was dirty

Posted 27-Feb-2017
Housekeeping does not clean rooms properly. Bathtub was dirty with empty shampoo bottles in tub when we arrived. Dirty wash cloth was left in hallway all week. Poopy men's underwear was sitting on sidewalk all week. Pot smoke in hallways in evenings. This hotel was gross!! Will not stay there again. Cot had stains running down sides.

Great Value, Convenient Location

Posted 23-Feb-2017
Cons: It's just old and outdated, kinda stale, and def the halls smell like marijuana.
We've stayed twice over the past 2 years. Both times we needed a late night check in and they are always there so that made it easy. The location is old, outdated, but clean enough. It makes for a quick, easy one night 'er on the go while travelling though. I would not stay if it was longer term...would prefer something a little newer, and nicer quality! But again overall 3 stars.

Noisy Noisy Noisy

Posted 7-Feb-2017
Pros: On the plus side: rooms are big and clean.
Cons: a lot!!
Location: good location, has parking and quick walk to restaurants and cafes.
If you appreciate a good night's sleep, this is *NOT* the place for you. Banging on the doors and stairs all night long, as "people go out for a smoke" as was explained to me by the staff; Partying in the room across the hall by a big group of people playing drinking games. TV and shower not working very well. Room is dated and old. Some of the staff seem like they couldn't care less about guest having an enjoyable stay.

Good, cheap place for skiers and riders.

Pros: location. price.
Cons: Could use a hot tub.
Location: Revelstoke is a fun, super friendly, and low-key ski town. You're guaranteed to make friends if you strike up a conversation on the lift or in the bar
Stayed 3 nights with my brother. The location is excellent. 1 block from the downtown core and access to ski shops, bars, restaurants, and a great bakery. The desk staff was very friendly. The room is what you'd expect from a hotel at this price point: simple, mostly clean but nothing fancy - old school CRT television - no LCDs here! The attached pub, "The Last Drop" is fun and lively. It seems to be the hot late-night bar for the town. Walls are thin and the bar is is open late. Expect the guests in the room next door to roll in late and wake you up at 3AM every night.
