"Stavros is a fantastic host and couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. He gave us recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. The villa is beautiful and in the most friendly village we have ever stayed in. The pool is cleaned every 2 days and the villa was cleaned twice whilst we were staying there by 2 lovely really friendly ladies. The villas location is perfect and really comfortable. There are also 2 balconies not shown on the pictures giving plenty of options for outside space. There were lots of really thoughtful gifts ready for us when we arrived. We had a brilliant holiday surrounded by the loveliest people and will definitely be back. We even had a message from Stavros after we returned home to make sure our journey home had run smoothly. Thank you Stavros and everyone in Melidoni!"

"What a stunning property - much bigger than we were anticipating -we had a fantastic stay. Rooms are huge, beds really comfortable. Pool and pool area is clean and well kitted out for loungers and umbrellas. Kitchen has everything you might need. Outside is a huge marble table with barbecue and pizza oven. Maid cleans twice a week - we had a couple of problems (a shower head and a light bulb) both problems where dealt with quickly by the owner. The owners are so helpful and super friendly - we had a huge welcome pack which was really appreciated after our late evening arrival - owners came to meet us an showed us around the property - nothing was too much trouble. Small shop in village great for bits. Lovely friendly restaurant with good food."

"We had a wonderful experience , the support we received from Valia and team was incredible. Adonis and his brother couldn’t do enough to help and the Villa itself is lovely, really well furnished and immaculate. It had everything you could want, the pool and outside areas well kept. The boat trip and chef recommended by Valia were the highlights. All I would say is you probably need a car, the bakery and icecream shop are well worth a visit in the village which is down a hill and it’s a hike coming back. "

"This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the hillside far away from the hustle of a town however close enough to go to the beaches and local tavernas. They staff are excellent always welcoming, the rooms were clean and we booked a suite with a private pool this was amazing. We loved the privacy and the fantastic view over the hills. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back again."

"This was our first trip abroad with our children (10 & 15yrs), and having never booked holidays using Vbro I was very nervous about what to expect.I had absolutely no need for concern, as Villa Evanthea was exactly as described, and more!!! Immaculately peesented, with a much welcomed basic shop of bread, milk and fruit on our arrival.Joanna the owner is the most amazing host you could ask for. She pooped round with a family sized Cretan pork casserole on our 1st night, with waa so lovely. She was always available to offer advise, and was so welcoming and friendly.The villa us set in beautiful mountains, with Melidoni cave a short car ride away ( or walk if you're up to it). 200m away is the Reptile Centre which is well worth a visit, along with the Honey Museum and Joanna's family olive oil factory.We will definitely be back!!!"
