"They thought of every detail, unfortunately with the exception of the furniture. We found the beds and the sofa to be very uncomfortable-this place would be an absolute 5star review with more comfortable furnishings. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for us."

"Room was nice. Bathroom door for room 210 needed a little oil so it didn’t squeak at night. Water temp and pressure were perfect! The have squeeze shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Check-in was 2pm and it went smooth. Same with check out. Parking was plentiful."

"If you have the chance to stay at this property, DO IT! We have stayed in many rentals in the area, but this location was so beautiful. Every single day of our stay, we saw wildlife of some kind: snails, doe and her fawn, and herons. The view from the balcony was gorgeous! It was a very relaxing property on the water. We did plenty of fishing and boating. A deer walked right up to us while fishing one evening. With young children, it can be hard to find a suitable rental. I appreciate the minimal “knickknacks” around the house. (I didn’t have to childproof much!) The hosts also put up many safety reminders, and that was reassuring. Even with a high balcony, I didn’t feel that I had to hover over them. We had exactly what we needed! The hosts provided many extra pillows and blankets, plenty of cutlery, and various board games. There was lots of room for our whole family, dog included! The hosts also left a thorough welcome binder that detailed rules and other policies, plus local recommendations. We hope to come back soon!"

"I cannot really rate this room on loneliness or anything else when we got to this hotel there were storm warnings and sirens going off the hotel had no electricity which was not their fault. The entire town did not have any electricity by the time we get to our rooms which were on the second floor after electricity came back on. We pretty much just went to bed the next morning we got up and left, but the hotel staff was super nice. They assisted us in the building up the elevator to make sure we didn’t get trapped so I have to give this hotel five stars just because their staff was amazing."

"Truthfully, my favorite economy hotel experience I've ever had. My wife and I stumbled upon this place on the way home from a trip to Chicago a year ago- it was such a great experience that we took our family of 5 back for a weekend trip. Beautiful atmosphere, clean rooms, restaurants & ice cream shop on-site, and our kids LOVED all of the activities, farm experiences, and green space surrounding the property. We are a family that also loves staying at 5-star hotels (Four Seasons, 1 Hotels, Rosewoods, etc.) and this hotel is most definitely on our stay list- we love it!"
