Glad they accepted pets, but, sadly, heard they are increasing pet rate from $10 to $25 nightly.
Also we heard dogs all night which frightened our cat. There was lots of dog poop left all around our building and adjoining parking lot areas, despite multille free "clean-up" bags available on posts throughout the property.
Excellent rooms at a great price. Will look here first next time. Also room did not smell at all as they frequently do in casinos. Truly a smoke free room.

We always stay here on our Way to see family in California. We know we can expect a clean room and a Pleasant experience.
Amazing place, rooms very neat, bathrooms are hygenic and beds are comfortable, liked the coffee and customer service very much! Very nearby for everything food, parks, visiting places, shopping center, movies and finally casino.
Western Village is a nice facility with great rates. Very clean. I noticed the elevator was re done. Very beautiful. Very close to Legends and we love the lake behind the property. This is our go to place whenever we go to Reno.

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. The area around the hotel and casino was old and run down
Room was finished rather luxurious compared to others in the price range. Good restaurant choices in the adjacent casino. I would have liked to have left the window open, but it only opened a couple inches, and it was noisy outside with talking even at 11, so left it closed. Woke up at 4:30 AM hearing the TV playing in the next room. Turned on the AC for white noise to drown it out. Didn't sleep very well the rest of the night. Wouldn't come back.
The staff was very friendly and responsive.
There was no free breakfast and the lobby was not in the same building as the rooms, which was inconvenient compared to most hotels. My room was next to the elevator and entrance so there was a lot of noise from people coming and going, but in general, everything else was average or better.
Very poor customer service from the staff , I don’t recommend anyone to stay there unless truck driver due they have big a lot for trucks, only this feature

Very confusing how to check in. Have to go inside casino to check in then drive over to different building where room is and no parking available. Not convenient at all
The property overall was very good in most areas with the exception of arrival and check in. When we normally arrive a hotel there are place for check-in parking but not here because they have taken all the parking near the front registration entrance for the highest level players club card to park which also appears to have moved all of their Handicapped parking further away. Because of this you are left driving around to find ANY open parking for you to temporarily park for check-in which in our opinion is very inconvenient whether you are handicapped or just trying to check-in.
Things we liked: Clean, quiet, close to lake and walking area. Maid service was great.
Things we didn't like: Took a long time to get hot water to our room. we were on the top floor and the far end of the building. The freezer part of the fridge was missing the door and froze everything in the fridge.
