"It was pretty quiet, not to many people staying but that was fine. I didn’t visit the pool area so I can’t speak for it but it was open and looked ok. My only complaint is the breakfast. There weren’t that many options. Most things were carbs (bread/bagels/cereal/pancakes). Juice options were great. But no eggs or meat. The bed was comfortable and the tv and amenities in the room all worked. Over all 3-4 stars. There was only one person on staff that I saw my entire stay. "

"The host was wonderful. We arrived to a comfortable house that was clean and stocked with everyday necessities. It had a roomy, open common area with plenty of activities for our group of nine between the pool table, dart board, hottub, etc. "

"One of the best stays my husband and I have experienced in our entire lives. The property is beautiful, filled with life and history. It's incredibly cozy and comfortable, we both slept well. Breakfast was delicious and we didn't need lunch either day. Tippy is a lovely host cat with fluffy pantaloons and Sir Ellis, the delightful black and white cat, ensured that we never forgot where our room was. We had wonderful conversations and felt as though we were stepping into the home of beloved relatives rather than a stranger's house. It was simply fantastic! "

"This house worked out really well for an adult family group attending a wedding at nearby Whiteface Hollow. We actually spent very little time in the house on this beautiful fall weekend. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms had plenty of clean towels. As a bonus the surrounding property was beautiful; rolling fields, the foliage, and a little pond."
