The owner was there and greeted us in a warm and welcoming manner. He showed us around the location and shared all kinds of useful information. The house had clean linens and bath towels supplied. The kitchen was well appointed, had modern appliances and was spotless clean. The location is wonderful, on a quiet dead-end street with little traffic but close to the downtown area and beach with access to downtown via a service road that avoids the busy traffic on Rt. 1\. The location is ideal, in a quiet and green residential neighborhood by the canal, yet very close to the town center and the beaches. The backyard is lovely and we had most of our meals there. The house is well equipped and nicely decorated. We were provided two bikes which we rode on a daily basis to discover Rehoboth Beach. Bill is a brilliant host. He lives next door and is super responsive and helpful. We left behind our lunchbox upon checking out and he jumped in his car to bring it to us at the Lewes Ferry. This was our first visit to Rehoboth Beach and we were so impressed with the house, the price, and the close proximity to beaches and town. Bill's house is cute, well decorated, has comfortable beds and has a great fenced in back yard and patio. The house is private on a dead end street and is about a mile to the beach and town.
