Check-in was seamless and easy. We drove up, let ourselves in and started our vacation immediately. I would point out to other renters that this rental requires you to bring your own sheets, bath towels and beach towels. Not a huge deal, and it's still a 5-star property, but I did not expect that (the property manager let us know that in the email that arrived with check-in instructions just a few days before). The house is clean, with the kitchen and bathrooms featuring groovy wallpaper and colorful fixtures. It's a great place with plenty of rooms for family members, plenty of areas inside and out for different groups to congregate at the same time. The entire family thoroughly enjoyed the stay and felt the accommodations were fabulous. The location is just phenomenal, offering close proximity to all the main attractions in Rehoboth Beach, yet provided incredible level of privacy both in the house and on the beach... it was like having a private beach. I was worried it was going to be old. IT IS NOT. It was perfect. Everything was in great condition, even the bathrooms. All of the beds were comfortable. The rooms were all great. And the location is not to be beat. It's literally steps from the sand. I woke up every morning at 5am to snap a picture of the sunrise from BED(!), then fell back to sleep. The beach chairs and umbrellas were in great condition. Seriously, I couldn't recommend this place more. I'm already looking for when I can go back. One small thing for people to know -- you need to be able to handle stairs of all types. From the spacious rooms and great layout to the wildly fun late 70s design to the extra touches (like the hand dryer and dual head outdoor shower), the house was awesome. The location is an A++++.
