Nice facility; pool; restaurants close by; only down side - sheets had not been changed and guests had to pay for breakfast.

Rude housekeeping and an unwarranted charge

Posted 18-Jul-2016
Pros: It was clean
Cons: No more early morning housekeeping and explanation of extra fees
Location: Great
I was awakened by housekeeping at 8 am they were hoping for me to checkout so they could clean my room. Also I was charged $40.00 for something when all I did was sleep? Ice maker was broken i am very displeased. Also my coffee maker was not cleaned it had the leftovers from the guest before me.

Stay elsewhere in Redding

Posted 11-Jul-2016
Pros: Location was OK, right off the freeway.
Cons: Rebuild it!
Location: Restaurants, other better hotels
Hotel looked fine from the outside, but rooms were awful and from about 1970. Check in was a hassle because their computers were down so had to do it all manually, including running my credit card. Whole thing took about 20 minutes. Room smelled of really old cig smoke, even though this is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel.

Not a good place to stay, even overnight.

We just needed a quick stop over night on our way back from San Francisco. We arrived around 11:00pm. The check in process took entirely too long, the hallways were filled with an unpleasant smell, and the room had an overall unclean feel. Also, the housekeeping staff woke us up at 7:45 am by knocking on the door. It made absolutely no sense. For the $130 I spent, it was a terrible deal. I should have stayed at the Motel 6 for $60.

Money money money

$40 extra for something which they refund. Didn't understand that. Want you to get your license number no matter what. Charge extra for breakfast. Charge me what you must but knock off the extras.

Bathroom did not vent at all - way too hot - no point in taking a shower!

Nice pool, bad rooms.

Posted 7-Jul-2016
Pros: The pool was nice, outside and shaded by the time the kids wanted to use it.
Cons: Bathroom showers. The outside of the hotel could use a new look. The hotel next to it looked better...it made me regret my decision of staying there.
Location: We just stopped for one night on our way down to Santa Cruz from Seattle area. Several dinner choices on this road. Not a bad location.
The rooms were pretty small. The bathrooms were a nice size but could use some fresh tile.

Hotel was ok and the staff were friendly

Our only frustration was that there was no parking. I think this might have been due to the fact there was a weddkng party and also some event happening in the lounge.
