Redlions on Hilltop.

Pros: Hilltop Redlions on Hilltop was lovely. The pool was huge an private. The rooms were clean . The staff was so pleasent an made us feel welcome.
Cons: Make sure your booking Redlion in Redding Ca on Hilltop
Location: We went to a nice restraunt close to Hotel. Great on an off freeway.
Let me first state when I booked thru Expedia, in Redding Ca ,there is 2 Redlions Hotels. The one I booked was on Hill Road. When I arrived we were sent to the 2nd Redlions. It was not even in a nice part of town. The price was much too high. Was not shown on your site. We were able to change on this busy weekend 3 phone calls an much stress. I will be more careful when booking from your internet systems. The stay was nice after we got Redlions on Hilltop Road Thanks Judy

Convenient Hotel location.

Pros: Convenient location - on/off freeway, restaurants and gas stations.
Traveling with two grandchildren who were thrilled with the swimming pool after a long days drive. Albeit cold, the outside temperature made up for the chilly water! The room was very comfortable and adequate for two adults and two children.

Avoid if you like cleanliness & quiet

Hotel staff members were friendly. Unfortunately, our room was poorly cleaned -- appeared to have not been vacuumed, with (blood?) stains on carpet. We expected better from Red Lion. There was also a noisy group of young people staying upstairs. It would make sense if such groups were kept on the ground floor and toward the end of the hall to minimize noise.

We stay here once a year.

Pros: Room, TV, location, staff, quiet.
Cons: Shower heads that take short people into consideration. The spray fans out so much that if you're short, you're getting very little spray.
Location: In-N-Out Burger, which we don't have in Washington, so it's always a treat.
Room is always clean and comfortable. Heat and air work well. Quiet. Close to our favorite restaurant here and the mall. No elevator, so you do have to haul everything upstairs if you're on the second floor. The shower felt like little needles hitting me in the face, but that's the first time that happened.

good stop over

quiet. nice pool. easy access to highway. we spent one night on our way south, and it was perfect. Plenty of room for a family of 5.

Worst hotel/motel I've stayed in for a long time

Pros: - Sorry to say, nothing at all. Overall it was a horrible experience.
Cons: - Cleaniness - For this type of hotel, please consider reducing the price
- Not very clean: stains on carpet and bath towels, dusty - Very poor soundproofing. We had the misfortune of having a party on our floor extending into the early hours of the morning, and we heard every bit of it - The gym was poorly maintained - In general the hotel needs a makeover for this price range

The Bar

I dislike that bard a lot. It makes it so hard to sleep with a balcony door open even the slightest for cool air. They should definitely fix that but other that my stay was great.

Friendly Staff

This is a nice hotel with good customer service and nice breakfast. The area crime is a little concerning, but the Hotel cannot help that and they do take precaution to warn you about your car safety.

Nice staff terrible room

Could not cool the room down with the A/C even turning it down to 63. Had to open the slider door to cool room. No hot water in shower either the day we checked in and the morning we checked out. Not very fun.

No hot water in shower

My room 252 had no hot water in the shower. After driving for 7 hours a lukewarm shower was very disappointing. Hotel is showing it's age, dirty carpets in hallways and bathroom tiles needing work.
