"The building is older, not updated. Our room was clean, but the couch was fraying. Also has a distinct smell. Guessing since it was probably smoking at some point it’s still in the room. It is definitely a budget hotel. Mattresses are awful. We both rolled to the middle."

"We had an amazing long weekend here and will absolutely be back! We stayed for three nights, and every part of our visit was wonderful. Claytonna was an incredible host, so kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The breakfasts were all home cooked, delicious, and different each morning, which made them even more special.The property itself was comfortable, peaceful, and relaxing. Our room had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed and pillows. Some of our favorite parts of the visit were sitting by the fire on the patio at night and watching the hummingbirds.The location was also perfect, super close to hiking trails and just a short drive to Benton for antiquing on rainy days. Such cute shops! Claytonna also has a sweet little gift shop on the property with lovely local gifts.Thank you for such a wonderful stay and an amazing long weekend!"

"Wonderful cabin to stay in while exploring Ricketts Glen. Well equipped, clean and a nice setting. Host very helpful and responsive. Did not realize from the description on VRBO that we needed to bring our own sheets, blankets and towels— it was not mentioned but I probably should have realized that from the pictures. Luckily I was messaging the host about check in details and he mentioned it (2days before arrival). So heads up on that! Lovely cabin…highly recommend!"

"The property was exactly as listed. As we enjoyed all of the surrounding activities, we only unilized the property for sleeping. However, the property had everything we would have required. Very clean. The property owner was quick to respond when we had a few pre-checkin questions. Would stay again."
