We booked our room weeks in advance and when we arrived we were told that a king size bed room was not available. When I asked why when I had booked weeks ahead as well as called to confirm earlier that day because we had a late arrival, I was told they didn't know. They said the day staff gave it away maybe? No apology nothing, they just didn't know for sure. When we checked out I brought it up and again not a great response. Just said sorry to hear that. When I book a room and I give weeks notice and I have to hold it with my credit card, I have an expectation that that's the room I'm going to get. A lukewarm response to not having that room just made it all the more annoying. Customer service is poor. The quality of the room was just okay, it was definitely clean and other than the toilet, everything worked properly.

We got a pet friendly room for our two dogs and had our two children with. Upon opening the door all we smelt was smoke! I than looked over the bed and found brown stains on the bed , cheesy stains, I than lifted up the bed skirt and there was dog pee stains on the pillow and on the mattress. I went down to complain to front desk and they were nice and all but all they offered me was 2 free drinks ……I was frustrated and told them to give me new sheets and I’d change them myself. I am a cancer patient and can’t drink. The property itself and outside was fairly nice. They wouldn’t waive a pet fee for a night or give me a discount. Sadly I don’t think I’ll be returning. The pool was amazing !

The room I got was for accessible room..was that a VIP perk???!! The room was clean and spacious (accessible room), the bathroom was pretty bad! The water never drained fast enough in either the sink nor the floor drain as a result had pool of water being collects that drained slower than the water coming out of the faucets!

The only thing that sucks about this trip, is Expedia. I go on a Canadian site, with Canadian prices, and get charged in US funds. It literally cost me $60 more for one night through Expedia then it would have through the hotels website.

Staff at front desk were great but at the same time it took 3 times for my key to work in the door after a long day that’s not fun. Fix the key pads on the doors. Everyone I talk to at the hotel had the same issue. Went in to the room and the light bulbs were out and needed to be changed. The fan in the room for ac is super loud and woke me up every-time it kicked on. I’ll try a different hotel on my next visit as I go every 3 weeks it’s to bad as it could be a great place to go if the minor things were fixed and up keep was a priority

I feel we paid a premium rate this weekend for a not so great room. The bed was placed in a odd spot which made it really inconvenient for 2 guest to get in and out of. The sofa was right at the foot of the bed and the person sleeping on the right could not conviently get to washroom. In the morning there was no hot water. Other then that the room and hallway was clean and quiet.

It's convenent to where I had to go for work purposes, clean, helpful staff. The room was amazing. It was such a great deal. Bed was comfortable, temperature in room was perfect and it had a full kitchen suite. I was surprised what we got for the price. I will come back here when I need to come back to Red Deer again for work.
