"Overall, the cabin was nice. The common area, kitchen and living room, were smaller than expected but they worked well for the two of us, the living room furniture could stand an upgrade. The cushions are worn and very uncomfortable. We were surprised the fireplace was not available for use and still on summer setting. The outdoor area was nice. The fishing was not great, nothing but very small fish, this may have been due to the time of year. We would consider booking again in the future."

"It was tricky finding the property it’s very remote but manageable I would say if you have a little dog keep a good eye on them when letting them out on the deck it’s a long way down and they can slip right under the wire"

"This place is actually quite good. It had everything I needed. The exterior looks mid-20th century, but the interior is updated. Lots of outlets, great WiFi, great TV channels (including TCM), and a comfortable bed. Some reviews indicate that the neighborhood is older, but that’s the attraction of Chillicothe, which is a charming old historic town. I would love to stay here again."

"I loved my stay here! Even though there's other cabins around, it felt so secluded and you didn't hear other people. It was clean, cozy, and had all the necessary amenities to cook all my meals there and make coffee. Before checkin, the host sent very detailed instructions about the property, including how to get there since GPS is a little wonky. I am very directionally challenged and struggle without GPS, and those instructions from the host got me to the cabin no problem! I'd definitely stay here again."
