"Our stay was very good, we loved it!! Villa Romana tried to sell us a taxi ride from Salerno to Minori for 120 €. We took the ferry for 9 € / pers and it took about the same time (1hour). From the dock in Minori, it was a 5 minutes walk. "

"This property is very close to the down town area as well as a 10 to 15 minute walk from the entrance to the Pompeii archeological site. Very personable owners. "

"Alexis and Angelo were wonderful. The space is gorgeous, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and it was easy to find. There was some loud music late night one night that made for a rough sleep but Angelo and Alexis made sure that it didn’t happen again. Casa Santangelo is a wonderful stop in Salerno if you want to get away from the crowds of the hotels with easy access to ferries, restaurants, and other sites. "

"We had an amazing stay at Pompeii Suite Giovanna and I would highly recommend. Our suite was a short walk to the city center, spacious, nicely decorated, and spotless. Alfonso and Sonia were fantastic, would could not have asked for better hosts. Sonia's homemade Italian breakfasts were delicious and as well has her pasta dinners. "Alfonso and Sonia were wonderful hosts! Their place was about a 15-20 minute walk from the centre of Pompei. It was very clean and they were available to us throughout our stay. There was a slight misunderstanding re: washing of clothing, but this was due to language barriers and nothing else. In fact, when we realized the issue, Sonia went out of her way to address our concerns. They were truly exceptional hosts!"

"This is our first time in Italy , we loved that we were walking distance from the stores and restaurants. They were friendly and accommodating with transportation to and from the airport. It was also easy for us to find transportation to the Amalfi coast."

The only drawback was the villa sits right on a highway so you need to be careful when you open the front door that you don’t get run over by passing cars. But all good.
