The property was well kept but dated. The jacuzzi tub didn’t work and no one came to fix it or even see what was wrong with it. The food options were limited.

The staff and everyone there was very friendly and accommodating. The food was pretty good, a little bland but I’m sure they can’t spice things up too much for everyone’s liking. The WiFi was spotty at times, we placed 2 orders for room service since we had 2 rooms and after 2 hours they closed and we never received either room service order. Fans should’ve been put over the beds rather than over the table. Excursions were awesome, we really enjoyed those. Only thing was the safari took 3 hours just picking other people up and that’s a lot of sitting and time. Overall very satisfied and would recommend this resort!!!

It was a beautiful property. Quiet which is what we wanted. Not a party spot, and the beach isn’t great. Food and staff are wonderful and they spend a lot of time cleaning.

The hotel itself and the property access was exceptional. The staff was courteous and willing to cater to every need. The only negative was the beach. Due to the river emptying into the bay it was not clear and there were jellyfish. The pool was an excellent compromise though.

Overall the stay was nice but we had to be moved twice because of room conditions. Not a great way to start our vacation. Grounds are beautiful and the pool area very clean.

Fabio is your guy in the lobby! Franklin will go above and beyond to make your stay safe and fun. Luis and Wilfred will make your dining experience beyond fantastic and the two excellent servers in the quiet pool “tequila” were friendly, fun and attentive! The rooms were clean, the staff made this stay a memory for my mom and me to never forget! Thanks to all!!!

Loved Bouganville and plan to go back. The staff were top notch. The resort provided the best of both worlds in terms of areas where you can relax and areas where you the music and party are ongoing. The rooms are a good size, clean and quite comfortable. The selection of restaurants was fantastic.

We heard from our concierge once during our 7 day stay. and when we requested ice, we never got it. They give you a restaurant to choose for dinner other then the buffet but they were no open reservations. room service took a little long so food was on the colder side when received. The staff at the gym, and around the pool were all very pleasant. it is extra HOT in the gym. They need some more fans and definitley more dumbells. The hostess's in the buffets were also very nice. The come2 tour rep was very pleasant and the excursion was fun but the time we were told to get to and from the destination was inaccurate by an hour each way. Overall stay is decent.

My experience at this hotel was average. The staff were helpful and nice, but the cleanliness of the room was only average, with a noticeable smell and stains on the bedsheets. The food options were varied, but it was almost impossible to book restaurants. We made reservations through the tablet in the lobby, but when we arrived at the restaurants, they said no reservations had been made. The buffet options were of medium quality. On the positive side, the entertainment team was amazing, and the pool was nice. However, overall, the experience fell short of the good reviews I had read.

Amazing experience! Make sure to book your dinner reservations in advance, we were able to dine at many of the restaurants as they were pre booked. Otherwise the facility and staff were amazing!

Reservations are required for all sit down restaurants, otherwise the only meal service provided is buffet. Many parts of the buildings do not have AC and the carpet/hallways/rooms need updating.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The resort is clean and well maintained, except our room which was not cleaned properly. One day the room was not cleaned at all. Sink was not cleaned at all from our arrival. The buffet food is disgusting. We have tried breakfast, lunch & dinner. Some of the food is cold, lacks flavor, and it’s the same thing everyday. Ocean water is not clear at all. That was the biggest issue for us as a beach persons. Will definitely not come back.

For the price I paid, OH WOW WAS THIS NICE!!! The staff was absolutely amazing and so accommodating. The place itself is just amazing! I understand what people were saying by “rundown”, but I would only say that applies to the hallways, which really shouldn’t matter. Other than that, everything else was so clean, up to date, and just perfect! The all inclusive included food, drinks, activities, and so much more! Just so perfect and will DEFINITELY be back!!!

Nice beautiful resort.Very couplish,mature/retiree type crowd.Too large to only have limited activites,restaurants,bars and pools.Not near any airports,shopping off premises.Very very few staff members spoke or understood english.Food options could've been better.For people with FOOD ALLERGIES BE CAREFUL they don't cater to your allergies(I don't think they comprehend them).Would I go again NO

There should be better maintenance and service for an all inclusive resort. Pool tiles were broken/ dirty and desperate need of cleaning and repairs Not enough staff to accommodate the guests! Pool bars sometimes had 1 person manning the bar w 20-30 guests waiting for service. Restaurants were fully booked before arriving so reservations for specialty restaurants were impossible to get. AC in room didn’t work the entire time. Maintenance would come and fix everyday and would cool off for a few minutes then hot again. Room butler was great but housekeeping only once per day. And beach was infiltrated by nearby river so dark and muddy

This property was amazing. Awesome and very helpful staff. We missed our transport but the staff was helpful enough to help us out to find an alternate way to get to the airport so we wouldn’t miss our flight. The food is delicious and the drinks are amazing. For those who prefer their drinks on the sweeter side and like to enjoy your drinks without the alcohol being overwhelming, this is the perfect place for you. Here you’re able to enjoy the drinks and it’d take a lot of drinks to get one even buzzed, the way I like it. The pools and jacuzzis were amazing, the water isn’t too cold upon entrance. My only gripe is that the pool closes pretty early; 6pm in the “winter time” and 7pm in the “summer time”. The pools should remain open with music played at a reasonable volume for those that want to go night swimming and just lounge at the pool during the night time. The restaurants were always booked up as well so if you want to visit a restaurant, try to get to the kiosk asap or speak to guest services to see if they can book something for you. Room service was fantastic and punctual. The cleaners were always on schedule and did a fantastic job cleaning the rooms while you’re out enjoying the resort. Overall an amazing time. 9/10, Definitely recommend.
