"The house is well situated, just minutes from the lake and Main Street. We felt completely at home; the owners have decorated and appointed the house beautifully - every detail has been considered and implemented. Communication was easy and they solved issues (i.e. getting the drive shovelled in a snow storm) before we could even ask about them. The back porch and yard are wonderful for relaxing. We loved the house and the neighbourhood and found it difficult to leave!"

"It is an older home, but it is well-cleaned and nice inside. The location is excellent and the beach is well-kept. The sunrises over the lake are beautiful. We stayed for a week with a large family. It comfortably slept all of us. There is a pull-out under the bed in the upstairs room for an additional sleeping location for a kid. There is also a good pizza and ice cream spot very close. "What a great location - right by North Beach!! My husband and I found this first floor unit very comfortable and nicely furnished. The front deck is new and very sturdy and, if the weather hadn't been so cold over the Thanksgiving weekend, we would have spent a lot of time sitting outside enjoying the lake view. The owners were very responsive and communicated right away to our questions (we couldn't find the wifi password). We hope to spend time here again!"

With lots of charm and plenty of space, we felt at home right away, and our kids kept asking to go back to the "new house" so they could play on the bunk beds and flop around on the big sofa in the living room.
