We had non smoking room but the smell of Marijuana was throughout the second and third floor came into our room it was there for two days and our room was on the third floor and elevator was out the whole time would be great if that was fixed sheets looked good till u pulled them back

My stay was great, traveled for work for a week, they picked up my bed almost every day, and change the trash and gave me new towels, my next door person was a little loud, but other then that, i felt save and pleasant stay, would stay again.

Great hotel with great room. Hotel is on main road so car noise was present, but not real bad. TV had very limited channels and no streaming options. Elevator was inop when we left, making several trips up and down stairway when we left. Overall these were minor complaints and we would stay there again and recommend it.

If you live in quincy illinois there will not let you stay in a room there. I had already paid for it online and when i arrived to check in the guy saw i lived in quincy and said the owner now refuses all quincy residents who book a room. Have stayed there plenty of time in the past and now all of a sudden cant. The owner doesn't openly display this change and it screws people over who already paid for the room. Been almost a week now and havent gotten my refund for the room. Hotels like this need to disclose this information, not take the money and tell the guest to leave. I used to really like this hotel but never again.

It's ok, has the appearance of being a decent property, but some things aren't cared for. The bed cover had a stain, but the sheets were clean. The fridge didn't work and no microwave. TV was good and bathroom was clean and decent. Breakfast was the usual faire with pancakes, biscuits and gravy, cereal, fruit, yogurt. Quiet hotel and neighborhood.

Not a bad hotel, ice machine was broken and there was only one for the whole building. Not a lot of channels to watch from, mattress wasn't the most comfortable but not bad. Staff was good.

Well, the towels in the bathroom were dirty. There's not much you can do about that when you come out of the shower and discover the towels are dirty. When I told them at the front desk about it, they said housekeeping was gone for the day, but they would replace the towels. I suggest using bleach to get the stains out! Also, when I sat on the toilet, my breast was in the toilet paper roll. Whoever thought this was a good idea should not design hotel bathrooms. The beds were very firm. Those were the best part of the stay.

I normally do not provide reviews. There were two conditioners; no shampoo. There was an opened plastic cup on the top of the toilet. The shower safety rail was missing. The hair dryer had hairs in it. I did not receive my wake-up call. Overall, disappointing.

My room was not thoroughly cleaned. I don't believe the bedding was changed, there were stains on the sheets. Hairs on the sheets and every pillow. Hairs in the bathtub & on the sink. There was leftover food in the refrigerator and crumbs on the floor. We didn't really look the room over at check in because we just got in from a 5hour drive & were heading to Quincy Stadium for my son's homecoming football game. We got back to the room at 11:30pm, so it was too late to request another room. So, I was disappointed with the stay. .

We apologize for the issues you encountered in your room. The night shift guy is new and didn't know that some guests move plugs around in the rooms. There wasn't any issue with the refrigerators, they were just plugged into the bottom outlets which are controlled by the light switch when you first enter the room. We apologize for the issue with the drunk man in the parking lot. If this was brought to our attention during your stay, we could have handled it properly.

A disappointment in comparison to other AmericInn Hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s definitely a renovation that didn’t have enough budget to improve the building to its need. A lot of make shift and half baked things throughout. Stick on tiles in a dated elevator. The lone light switch in the room controls the rooms power, not lights. Window were definitely dated and cheap. Then on top of that it’s just not clean. Sheets are washed but dust and debris are throughout rest of the room and building. Upon arrival my rooms window was already broken too. I think the only saving aspect was the staff was nice as could be. Also for as much mess as there was the breakfast was actually pretty plentiful and had solid selection.

We're sorry to hear that you don't think our hotel is up to the AmericInn standard. However, the other AmericInn properties I have seen have been to look like they haven't been updated in over 10 years whereas our hotel was just newly renovated. If you would have been here to see what the hotel looked like prior to renovations vs what it looks like now, you would be able to appreciate the hotel like we, and most guests, do. As far as the room goes, the light switch upon entry to the rooms do control the bottom switches AND all lights in the room. Our hotel staff also takes enormous amounts of time throughout their day to ensure the property stays in tip-top shape as far as cleanliness goes.

The staff were all very nice but the guests and their children were extremely loud. The facility was clean but the rooms smelled musty and the tub drain didn’t work in the room. The location was convenient. The breakfast consisted of cold cereal and biscuits and gravy and coffee.
