The Gold Rise is a large, modern home sitting above Lake Wakatipu on one of Queenstown`s most sought-after residential areas. The views stretch uninterrupted across the lake to the Remarkables and Queenstown Airport.

The upper level is where the group naturally gathers. The open-plan kitchen and dining area flows directly onto the glass balustrade deck - the best seat in the house at any time of day. The kitchen is fully set up for a proper cook-up, with a double fridge, dishwasher, induction hob, oven, and coffee machine. Back inside, the woodfire anchors the main living room.

Downstairs runs on its own rhythm. A second, fully separate living area gives kids their own space to wind down, or offers a quiet corner for anyone who needs to step away from the group. Sliding doors open straight to the garden and lower patio, keeping the connection to the outside easy at both levels.

The master bedroom sits on the ground floor. The remaining three bedrooms can each be made up as superking or twin, making the house adaptable for families and adult groups alike.

The home is fully made up and ready from the moment you walk in - fresh linen, bath towels, and hand towels. Coffee, tea, and milk are stocked in the kitchen. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are provided in each bathroom

Guest access
Self check-in with full access to the property. Arrival instructions and parking details are sent 24 hours before check-in. Please return the key to the lockbox during your stay and on departure.

Goldfield Heights sits on the hillside above Lake Wakatipu, midway between Queenstown town centre and the Frankton area - close enough to everything without being in the middle of it.

Sherwood - restaurant, bar, and one of Queenstown`s most recognised gathering spots - is right on the doorstep. The bus stop is a 5-minute walk, with regular services running into town, out to Frankton for the Remarkables Park shopping centre and the airport, and up to Arrowtown. Town centre is around 3km in one direction; the airport sits at a similar distance in the other.

It`s the kind of location where guests can leave the car in the garage and use the bus for the duration of the stay - or keep it for day trips further afield.
