Room was spotless and comfortable. Beautiful spot. Host was great! Only thing I could suggest is the proper amount of towels for the amount of guests booked. We only had two towels for three guests. But this doesn’t affect how we feel about the place! Great stay!

I chose this hotel due to it's proximity to the Liberia airport. I wasn't finished acquiring my rental car until 1700 hrs and did not want to drive 3 or 4 more hours to La Fortuna or Monteverde. It served as my base for Lake Arenal Catamaran tour, Viento Fresco waterfall hike (which is changing it's name to Manakin Waterfall Nature Reserve), and a day at Treetopia hanginging bridges in Monteverde. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a days adventure. You could even pull off a Scandanavian type spa treatment alternating the hot tub and the cool pool for a hot/cold treatment. There are water activities, such as windsurfing and kayaking nearby on Lake Arenal. The hotel also has a beautiful view of Lake Arenal and has a 1 km hiking trail on it's property. The gardens around the hotel are amazing. The brewery was the first brewery in Costa Rica. The owner JP and his son are the brewers and JP has achieved Master of Brewing Art. He will gladly give you a tour of the brewery. Allison and Jose were very friendly bartenders, both speaking good english. Allison makes an excellent spicy margarita. All the staff were excellent,the rooms were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. All in all it was a very good stay.

The house and properly are very beautiful. The hot tub water was a little stale at first but once we had it open and jets flowing it was fine. The rooms are great size with clean beds. House was plenty furnished. Gate with code to get on property so plenty safe with an easy driveway and parking area. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
