My husband & I booked a Queen room and received a double. Elevator didn’t work and stairwell smelled of urine. All three front desk staff over our stay were rude. We travel a lot and this may be our worst experience ever .

The Riot House
The Hotel is pretty much a dorm, with it being attached directly to Level 2, the only true “nightclub” in Town. The rooms are much closer to a roadside motel than a city Hotel. But look, come to Put In Bay for the party and not the hotel stay. The hotel is right dab in the middle of the party so we expected lots of noise and shenanigans. There were a few arrests right outside of our first floor window and a few fights after hours when people just couldn’t handle their alcohol. But you’re a short walk to everything on the island. Check in was quick. Rooms were clean enough.

Overall our stay was pretty good. Although the nightclub was on our floor, we couldn’t hear it from our room which was a plus. Everything was neat and clean. Good hotel to stay at if you want to party, but we basically just slept and left.

The Resort Doesn’t Have A Refrigerator. As Far As U Know, They Don’t Provide Towels For The Pool! The Code For The WiFi Didn’t Work. The Employee And The Desk Said It Hadn’t Worked In A While! A Very Convenient Location That Downtown. But, If You Can Book Anything Else Do. No Breakfast. Smell & Stains On Hallway Carpet. Just Saying, Not What You Pay For! Go Elsewhere!

We haven't stayed here for a few years but decided to try it again and it was wonderful! The hallway and room were clean and didn't smell musty. You tell that tgey have updated and remodeled. We will definitely stay there again!! Great location and price!

Hotel needs updated. Did not like that there was not a refrigerator in the room for medication, left overs from dinner or even water. Pool could be cleaned and skimmed daily.

The room was basic but clean with no bad smell. The pool and swim up bar could have been really great, but the pool was dirty. The water was cloudy and slimy; you couldn’t see your feet. However the location was great. All the shops, restaurants, and the lake were an extremely easy and short walk. Some are right across the street. Just plan on swimming at The Sand Bar instead (which was a lovely oasis that didn’t feel like Ohio).

The hotel didn't have a a microwave or a refrigerator both ice machines were broke all weekend had to fix the toilet the hot and cold water in the shower was backwards the air conditioner barely worked and the beds were broke down so I stay sucked I really think we should have got our money back since there was no ice all weekend no service at all so and then one lady got an attitude cuz I asked her if they had ice anywhere else she said no it just had to catch up and I said well it's been not caught up all day for ice if she said that's not her fault she was rude

Our stay was perfect friendly staff and great location around everything. My room was clean and a perfect size for us. When I go back next year I will stay there again. Thank you for a great weekend stay!!

The property is clean but old. It really needs updating. All hotel room doors are dented. The phones did not work. Our tv did not work. I would not stay here again or recommend it.
