Find hotels in Pureora Forest Park from CA $47

Our unit was a stand alone cottage, very spacious and very clean. We used the town as a launching point for some hiking expeditions and found its location to be perfect. It is located smack dab in the middle of everything. A four minute walk to the grocery store. There were a large number of cafes and bakeries to choose from within five minutes of us and the city info centre was located next to us. We would not hesitate to return.

It was great hotel. I loved staying there

Wow! What a beautiful place to stay. Steve and Liz are fantastic hosts. Their home has so much charm and character, we knew we were in the right place as we walked through the front door. So much thought was put into this boutique and it shows. Breakfast was delicious, fresh juice, pressed coffee, fruits and the decor with beautiful views of the lake from our breakfast table. The bedroom and bathroom were a step back in time, done to perfection. My head hit the pillows and I was out like a...

We loved our stay! Cabins are very spacious and well-kept. The motel is close to everything: in-town grocery, nature walks, and good access to Tongariro National Park. There are on-site barbequeues as well as an in-cabin kitchen. Staff were all very friendly (except Oscar the cat, who was a little frightened of visitors). Recommend the Turangi River Walk.

Lovely mountain lodge feel to the place. Cozy bar area and dinner in the restaurant was amazing. Rooms are not fancy, more basic, but a great stay overall.

Nice and quiet in a small town.

Loved the owner - he’s a crazy dude. Hilarious!!! The room was also awesome!

Clean

I stayed in the dome Deluxe Tent and I was truly amazed at this accommodation! The lakefront view was gorgeous to wake up to. I like that there was a mini fridge and kettle with tea/coffee in the room. Also, the couch was very comfy and I was able to borrow a DVD from the office to watch that evening. There was a lot of parking by the dome and the cooking area was clean with enough dishes and utensils.

Delightful B&B and the host was so welcoming and showed us around. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable!

Very nice

Very family friendly, clean and staff was great!

Everything was amazing and such a unique experience

The first thing that became obvious was that the gentleman manning the desk Geoff, was a very friendly outgoing and helpful guy. As we took care of the paperwork associated with getting the key for the room, he asked how long we were in town for and if we had seen anything. Telling him that we are only in for the one day that we had gone to see the glow worm cave earlier that day he immediately suggested going to locations that were within a 45-minute drive with the community. Not only did he...
