I have stayed at many resorts in Punta Cana. The Occidental Caribe, by far is considered my favorite because of the way the resort is situated. It has a U shape which I find very pleasing and intriguing. All the buildings are within the U shape and over looking at both the beautiful pools and the blue white sandy beach. The restaurants, buffet and other amenities are spectacular. The staff is awesome. They all showed professionalism, courtesy and respect. One person who stands out the most was Leslie Vilorio on the evening shift. I really admire her for her professionalism and for always going above and beyond to meet the guests at their needs. The services that Leslie and all of the staff members provided to the guests on a daily basis is excelent. I am looking forward to coming back with my family again next month.

We had a very pleasant stay at Occidental Caribe in Punta Cana. The resort is beautiful, and overall the experience was enjoyable. One staff member who truly stood out was Fedirna. She was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. She regularly checked in to see if we needed anything and went above and beyond to assist us. Thanks to her, we were able to secure dinner reservations for two nights, which made our experience even better. Her kindness and dedication deserve special recognition. The only downside was the check-in process, which took almost an hour and could definitely be improved. Additionally, many staff members do not speak English fluently, which sometimes made communication a bit challenging. However, everyone was cooperative and always tried their best to help. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this resort for a relaxing vacation.

Staff were very friendly. Pool and beach are beautiful, and rooms are clean. Only negative is it’s very hard and almost impossible to get restaurant reservations. We enjoyed a great week at this resort! The pools are clean and large, you can float alone or join into one of the activities. Our room was clean. The staff are friendly. The food was good, with variety at both the buffet and the individual restaurants. The beach is outstanding, and the reason we keep returning. It has shade areas and sun, with clean, soft, white sand. It is a wonderful, relaxing view of the continuous blue waves.

The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout the stay, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet expectations for a resort of this category. The main issue was the food quality. The buffet lacked variety, and the taste and freshness were inconsistent. For an all-inclusive resort, this was disappointing and significantly impacted the experience. Additionally, the casino felt misleading. The setup and payouts did not seem transparent, and it gave the impression of being more of a tourist trap than a legitimate entertainment option. The property itself is decent, but the combination of poor food quality and a questionable casino experience made the stay underwhelming. Overall, while the staff tried their best, I would not return unless there are improvements in food quality and clearer.
