"Great option for backpackers. Good included breakfast, hot hot shower and bed was great.
The gentleman at the desk saved me by helping me figure out how to get a new tourist card at investigative police station. Highly recommend"

"Great place to stay. Great staff. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Only caveat is at the moment (26 September 26) the hotel is adding a large extension to the building so there was a lot of building work noise till 6.30pm and it started again at 9am. Because of the noise it was difficult to relax."

"Nice hotel near the city center but in a quiet area. Friendly staff, parking on site, and big and clean rooms. Food was good too. Would definitely stay there again.

Colourful wooden buildings line the waterfront of this gateway to Patagonia and Antarctica. Book a penguin colony tour at Magdalena Island or visit the historic cemetery where explorers and pioneers rest.
What a great place to stay! Staff was so welcoming and helpful. We were talking about getting a reservation for dinner and right away they called and made it for us. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was tasty and rooms were roomy. Remember you are in the city so there is some noise but we wore earplugs and had no issues. Would definitely stay here again.

Our first time in Chile for my boyfriend and I. We travelled almost 25 hours and the first thing we wanted to do is to check into our hotel as soon as we landed in Punta Arenas. We didn’t have any high expectations at the time but as soon as we walked in we felt so welcomed and warm. Tho it was a very nice short stay, we reallly enjoyed our stay. Our host Carlos was awesome! A beautiful home in a nice beautiful location. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast was nice. Definitely recommend!!! ...

I would describe this property as a boutique hotel with a very family run feel. The rooms were tidy and clean was comfortable beds
He offers an ample free breakfast
When the front desk learned we were going on a detour they had a breakfast lunch ready prepared for us.

The hostel is clean, well maintained and friendly service. The beds are comfortable and showers has lots of very very hot water.
The hotel is centrally located so can walk every where. Breakfast is free (coffee, eggs, toast, ham, cheese, yogurt, cereal and fruit salad). Also can take breakfast to go.

Arrived early and received immediate welcome service from Ivan, including finding things to do, solving data reload issues on my Chilean SIM and a referral to an amazing restaurant that was historic and reasonably priced. Room was good and bed comfy. Very quiet. rea location! Would definitely go back.

Is it better to stay in a Punta Arenas motel or hotel?
Motels and Hotels have different perks. When you stay at a motel, you’re likely to find free parking and an outdoor pool. Staying overnight at a motel, can be handy when requiring easy road access. You’ll often have access to your room from outside, and directly from the parking lot. Hotels generally have room access from inside the building. Motels are also often less expensive than hotels. The word “motel” was coined in 1925 by the owner of the Milestone Mo-Tel in San Luis Obispo, California.
