Property advertised a panoramic suite view and intentionally placed me in a dusty, crusty, dilapidated room. The desk clerk moves like a sloth. The area is suitable for drag queens and LGBTQ but not husband and wife with children.

The staff was great, but the property was in need of so serious repairs. I would never stay at the Blue Chairs again I would never recommend the Blue Chairs to anyone. NO WAY

All the staff was incredible. Only issue was with the beach server, who was busy drinking with other guests rather than checking on others needing service. All for someone enjoying their day, just not at others expense. Love the layout of the hotel and had a good time in the outlets.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD!!!! Stay away!!!! Two employees of the hotel bar, and several gogo dancers committed bank and credit card fraud, they worked together to scam me over $4000 dollars. They charged me multiple times and used merpago and paypall and the bar to steal money from me. Hotel have me a free night but it dorsnt undo the damage. This place is not safe

Good view, however that was not enough to overlook the howling party goers inside the hotel until 3am. Pigeons and poop all over balcony. beds and pillows are terrible. Drafty room, Dirty pool. Staff was indifferent. Luckily we only booked two nights here. So we cut our looses and left after the first night. Expensive lesson we will not be back.

This property was good enough. Our cleaning lady was super friendly and we fell in love with her! We enjoyed our stay ver much…. (We didn’t like having to wear plastic bracelets while we were there or being asked if we belonged there several times. Only one room key was provided. Also there are tons of young men openly selling drugs in front of this property masking you to buy every time they see you) We would probably return. Thank you for a good stay

The property is located in a good areas. However, it is not the best condition. The door has a two inch gap into that was very noticeable. The sliding door lock to my patio was broken so someone can enter my room easily. The main bathroom kept getting stuck and wouldn’t flush. The shower was very tiny making the floor wet when I would shower. There was no phone to call front desk or any other services. You had to walk down to the lobby when you needed something. No ironing board or iron. They charge for visiting guests. That was annoying. For a resort hotel, it lacks a lot. This hotel is due for a major remodel. Very out dated.

We stayed for a week and were disappointed we were only given one key for our room. It really caused an issue while planning outings as we dont do everything together. All in all, though, we were satisfied with our stay. It was a big party week and we were right there in the mix.

Great location. Not great hotel
Awesome location. Very run down facilities. They ran out of plastic key cards so me and my partner had to share and always leave together. The music for the parties are so loud the entire room shakes. The AC rattled loudly. The roof top needs serious renovations. Again, the location and our view from our room was amazing. Bed was decent. Drawers unusable.

Overall very nice. Clean room, comfortable bed. Could have used a dresser / chest of drawers, there was none. Didnt have hot water one morning, was fixed after we advised front desk. No other issues. Personally, the only complaint other than the lack of a dresser is that there is a hill that may be challenging for some to walk. We ended up using Uber / taxi several times to avoid walking the hill, Uber /taxi was cheap, usually about $6 US.

Luego de más de 10 años de haberme hospedado acá decidí volver y sí fue como si fuera mi primer vez...el hotel Está en una de las mejores localidades de la zona romántica y playa de los muertos... es simplemente insuperable. El servicio de la habitación es muy bueno Pero ya se nota el desgaste del inmobiliario que deberían de mejorar. El restaurante en la playa es de lo mejor ...la comida muy buena y los chicos que atienden te hacen sentir muy a gusto : Don Luis ,Miguel , Miguel Junior ...y los demás, muchas gracias!

I don’t recommend it. There was no water at least for a few hours on a Thursday. It usually took 4 minutes to get warm water in the shower. It is not as gay friendly as one might think. They make you sign forms on entry and then don’t give you a copy. It has a fee for any extra guest which may or may not be charged depending on who is at the desk. You would think you could sit on the blue beach chairs without having to buy food or drink. But then if you bring your own beer or drink, that is not allowed. Then you are constantly harangued by sellers of crap on the beach. They demand your attention about 3 feet away while you try to relax. My room had easy things to fix like a little paint needed on the bath cabinets and door; a missing piece of art on the wall, one piece of a 5 piece wall sculpture missing, etc. Oh, and the ceiling fan does not work, kind of useful in a tropical humid climate. The elevator to my room did not work on 2 or 3 days of my stay. No one uses the pools there. More generally, PVR is almost as expensive as the USA now; US beach towns are a better deal with safer food and water. And pay close attention when walking anywhere outdoors as one can easily get injured on the horrid “sidewalks” and boulder filled “streets”. Savor the wafting smells of roach insecticide across the Town and at the beach restaurant. You might be lucky and only get for a day or so like me. Stay away from PVR and probably Mexico generally.

I have been to the property many times... This was not the best. New addition to the staff Abel was fantastic. But lots of missed opportunities. Water wasnt hot, but finally after 10 hrs was hot again... maybe just need to time my showers. Credit card machine was down, so they asked for cash... not very convenient... restaurant area, normally I get great treatment here, not this time. Kinda sucks when you go to a place once or twice a year for 13 yrs and its just not good service. Ugggg, wish it went better.

Recent stay in a suite at this property exceeded my expectations for a hotel. i previously had always booked a vacation condo. However, this suite had all the amenities of a condo and more. More service, More amenities, Was closer to the beach. It was also competitively priced.

The elevator was always out of order, the room was as clean as a housekeeper could make it, but the damp odour was almost unbearable, the beds were the worst and there was a lack of pillows. Very small TV that was so small you couldn’t even see it or hear it from the bed or ugly pullout. The balcony was basically not even a balcony since when you open the door the air conditioning unit was on the balcony and left no room to enjoy so what’s the point! I am all for universal and acceptance but only one phrase comes to mind…Gays gone wild!” Just too much for me!
