The location is stunning, and the adventure begins with the 4x4 road—it’s part of the experience and well worth it. The house is clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience.Joel was a fantastic host, even going out of his way to pick up a few items for us from Puerto Jiménez—so appreciated! After a day of exploring, the pool was perfect for a refreshing dip, and the Green Egg BBQ made grilling easy since town is a bit of a trek.The nearby Playa Pan Dulce was a highlight, where we swam daily while watching monkeys swing through the trees. We also spotted Agoutis, Macaws, and even an anteater!Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a wild, beautiful, and peaceful getaway. Thanks, Joel! ##### Jon C. This open air home was immaculate! It was perfectly equipped with incredible cookware, fabulous bathrooms and the roar of the sea. We were prepped to keep all food in a convenient lockable pantry so the monkeys would not steal anything. The monkeys tried but we were prepared. Capuchin monkeys and scarlet macaws are your neighbors and you are immersed in the rainforest wildlife. Amazing coffee was provided. I would recommend this home to everyone except i don't want it to be booked up next time i visit! It takes about 30 minutes off the main road in a 4x4 but it is well worth the journey.
