"Staff: The hotel staff were very communicative with us from beginning to end. They arranged a taxi for us from the airport and let us leave our baggage there after check in before our ferry out! Staff were kind and the breakfast staff gave us great advice for where to go during our stay. Breakfast: was great as well and vegetarian for me! The location: It’s a few minutes walk out from the main strip but not far at all. We walked everywhere! To the restaurants, bars, Darwin station, and port"

The hotel manager Ursula helped with all of our excursion planning, booking taxis and offered all the help and advice we needed to make our trip the most pleasurable. The breakfast was always extremely tasty. The cleaning staff was discreet and effective. We felt like honoured guest in a equatorial mansion. The manager even facilitated our participation in a cooking class with the local company Galapagos Foodie! In all my travels around the world, I have never encountered such impeccable...

I am a middle aged woman travelling solo. The room was perfect and secure. The pool is not designed for lounging in the sun, but great for a dip. Tortuga Bay is about a 45 minute walk on a well maintained path. When you get to the beach, go to he right and walk to the end where you’ll find a path through the mangrove and opens up to a calm pool like swimming area with shade trees and great snorkelling. Very safe to venture out anytime to explore the town, enjoy some wine and walk home.

Karen

Acacia Galapagos Boutique Hotel

Puerto Ayora

This hotel is well positioned in town close to all the key spots you want to be. The room was large, modern, well appointed and very clean. The staff are very helpful and overall amazing. Breakfast was different each day and made to order. They packed us a lunch when we had to leave to catch a ferry before breakfast. Very thoughtful and delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you to the staff for being so helpful.

Great experience. Meals and drinks are too expensive. Wifi outside the lobby is bad but around the reception area works fine, so who cares, you don't go to the Galápagos to be connected to a device. Day and night you see all kind of marine life passing by the dock. Lots of birds and other wildlife to see, beautiful view of the harbour and entertaining to sit and watch boats coming and leaving the port. Cristian was great help when needed and the rest of the staff pleasant.

Fernandina Hotel & Spa Galápagos

Puerto Ayora
