"My friend and I stayed here with the intention of experiencing Ireland outside of the city and it greatly exceeded expectations. The house was open and comfortable without losing it's farmhouse charm. What I didn't expect was how many truly nice experiences were nearby. Our focus was a home base while we did the Ring of Kerry and a bit of country exploration but it is oh so much more of that. The nearby town of Kenmare has incredible food and ample shopping. "This was a fantastic location - our kids loved the books scattered about and Agnes was helpful and communicative throughout our stay. Great location for exploring throughout Kerry. We took advantage of the meal offer - it was a bit expensive but the portions were large and it was a nice home cooked meal when we arrived after a long day, so it was a good family experience. "

The breakfasts are outstanding using many local products and the extra homemade treats are delightful. Location is lovely with surrounding countryside - highland cows, sheep and deer whilst at the edge of the village."
