Hi, We stayed at The Tides for a long weekend in May 2024. The room was super clean, the amenities were great, allowed us to mix restaurants and home food. The supermarket is about 15 mins walk from The Tides, and you also have the option to use the onsite bicycles for free. Turks and Caicos weather was awesome, people are nice, patient, and we personally need to thank Brenda for all her help, she was super nice and made us feel home. Will definitely go back to Turks, and stay at The Tides again, A

We absolutely loved our stay at the Tides. Brenda was such a great host. Our room was spacious and clean. Loved that it had a refrigerator and a wash & dryer. It made traveling with an infant so much much easier. I also loved being able to wake up and enjoy coffee on the balcony. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk. We were able to walk to the Fish Fry which I highly recommend. The grocery store is less than a 10 minute drive but be aware, it is VERY expensive. We are already planning our next trip to the Tides.

We booked 8 nights at The Tides and really enjoyed our stay. Our room with a den had a bit of a quirky lay out but had the added bonus of being on the top floor with a partial ocean view that we weren't expecting. It worked out great for us because we had a cloudy week so when the beach wasn't ideal, we were content to relax on our very large balcony with the ocean view and great breezes. Definitely have dinner down the street at Mr. Grouper's restaurant for excellent fish and a fun atmosphere. Lots of people watching on the beach which is just a very short walk (or golf cart ride) from the hotel and since it is a public beach access, a lot of the tour companies pick up for boat excursions from there. And the Looking Glass photo shoot company sets up most days providing interesting entertainment if you choose to watch! LOL All the advantages of a beachfront hotel without the exorbitant cost. Will stay again!

Staff were excellent and very welcoming. The location is great eventhough it’s not a beachfront property. We had kitchen and laundry amenities which worked perfectly for us. Would recommend this hotel.

We could not have asked for a better stay! The location was excellent and so close to the beach. The room was spacious and had a great kitchen to cook meals. The property also had bikes to travel to the grocery store, which was awesome to have. We highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was absolutely amazing, especially Brenda. She was so nice and accommodating as this was a solo trip. The room was 10/10, so clean and the bed was very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again !

Don’t stay here! Does not look like the internet pictures. Very poorly equipped kitchen, old coffeemaker, no kettle, no mixing bowls or salad bowls, no measuring cups or spoons, no kitchen drying towel or hand towel, dirty kitchen, dirty bathroom, poor housecleaning service, pool was dirty until the last day. Not like the pictures online, sliding patio doors were missing locks, no patio security, safe was not great. Beach chairs were very limited. Plus sides: beach was great, good dining in close by Grace Bay.

Clean and updated . One bedroom and one den was spacious with two full bathrooms . Full Kitchen was nice . There was a wrap around balcony with fans with lights we could sit and have meals. Brenda at checkin/ front desk was awesome . Need more dishes/salad bowls etc. About 20 mins walk or 5 min drive to Gracebay gourmet or salt mills plaza area. Hemingways short walk . Beach was less than 5 mins with beach chairs and umbrellas . The water pressure did vary at different times to completely stopping about twice for a short time . Not sure if it was out of the property’s control or not . The washer and dryer was convenient with detergent provided. Overall a good budget friendly place .

ROOM - Overall very happy with our room (i.e. Bedroom, Barrier-Free, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Oven, Microwave). - There are a few minor maintenance issues, however we really enjoyed our stay. - Key instead of key card - I recommend bringing your own beach bag, house slippers and robes, as these are not provided by the hotel SECURITY - Security monitors the property overnight. - Very safe area WHAT’S AROUND - Fish Fry down the street - A few minute walk to the beach - Free bikes, gym, pool

It’s great if you are ok paying $1200 per night for your water to not work if people are using it below you and with half the lightbulbs in the master bathroom being burned out so you can barely see. The only three lightbulbs outside our door, lighting up our entryway were also burned out…making it difficult to see our doorknob/keyhole at night. I asked maintenance 4 times in 3 days to come up to our penthouse suite to change the bathroom ones. We were told they’d come. They continually did not…and I’m sure they never planned on it, and those lights will never get fixed. The last night, we didn’t sleep at all. The whole wall facing the water is sliding glass doors. Great, in theory…but not if they’re so cheap that they don’t sit on actual tracks and properly close or seal. On a windy night, it sounds like a perpetual tornado. We had the doors all closed, but the curtains inside were blowing around like they were open. This building was apparently built in 2022, which totally surprised me. It’s like it was build using legos! Building inspectors are clearly not a thing there. It’s sad, because the finishes are beautiful and the location is great. It’s just when you want to use anything…toilets, doors, kitchen sink, lights etc…you realize that looks can be deceiving.

What we have in our Guest History files is that you had requested additional lighting. Perfect Place!
Beautiful boutique hotel right next to the beach and only a few minutes drive to restaurants, groceries and shopping. It’s a quiet block and there is a restaurant next door. They have nice chairs on the beach and provide towels. The property itself does not have a restaurant. The room we had was huge, it had a big balcony and nice kitchen. Everything is almost brand new and the rooms come with a washer/dryer and they give you 1 pod for a load of laundry. They give you a few dishwasher pods as well. The kitchen comes with a nespresso machine and pods, tea, coffee machine, and toaster. Very convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel. If you want a great coffee, I recommend driving to Lemon 2 Go, it’s 5 min away. We also had a great dinner at the Mango Reef restaurant one night.

The location is excellent. Easy access to beach and to the best restaurants. We loved that they supplied everything - laundry soap, water bottles, golf cart transport in case you didn't want to walk etc... the layout of the room was amazing! Since we stayed here at the end of our trip. I appreciated having a washer and dryer to clean our clothes before we headed home. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
