The bedrooms are well spaced out and discreet; and the children's bedroom accommodated our 3 grandchildren 5-8-10 on the lower level, set up in such a way, they squealed with excitement. A couple of minor glitchy things that were immediately resolved by the owner, who was easily accessible at all times: which I believe is the cornerstone of good vacation rentals. Sometimes when you arrive at a rental, the view seems completely different (smaller) than what you see online. In this case, we found quite the opposite...spacious and comfortable. This is our first time back in 4yrs due to the pandemic and a young family. It was nice to go back to where I grew up and revisit the sights and area. The home was just inside the county and quiet, situated on a well treed lot and with access to the water with a rocky beach. The house was nicely renovated and updated with a big spacious kitchen and sitting room and impressive bathrooms. We enjoyed watching birds from the back deck and saw many different kinds and the fire pit was nice to roast marshmallows. After dark the stars were spectacular and the views on a clear night reminded us how nice it was to be back in the country. The hosts were easy to reach, they provided everything I could think we’d even need and a welcome basket too. In all we had a lovely stay and the pirate bed was a huge hit too! ##### Kim M.
