We are open year-round.

Main Street Cottage is a distinctive 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Cape Cod style century home in the heart of Wellington. Opened in the summer of 2014, this newly renovated and newly furnished 2-story house features all modern amenities blended with plenty of old character for enjoyment in all four seasons. Relax in the casual elegance of the living and dining rooms as you plan and recount your days in the County. The enclosed sun porch as well as a bench in the front yard offer great spaces to greet neighbours and watch the world go by along the charming Main Street.

Ideally situated to take advantage of what the County has to offer, the picturesque village of Wellington with its gorgeous views of Lake Ontario is home to local studios and galleries, restaurants, heritage architecture and museum, a boardwalk, lighthouse, marina, lakefront playground and public library, all within walking distance of Main Street Cottage. The Main Street also houses several local amenities, including a grocery store, hardware store, pharmacy, post office, bank, LCBO, town hall and churches. In addition, many of the County’s wineries are located just a short drive or bike ride away, as are additional shops, galleries and restaurants.

Prince Edward County is a unique island getaway in southeastern Ontario offering something for everyone: beautiful beaches, scenic back roads for cycling and hiking, a rich collection of colonial architecture, and a vibrant culture featuring fine restaurants and other local culinary delights, wineries, galleries as well as music, theatre, food and art festivals.

Wellington Family Getaway
The property is very well maintained and centrally located. Sandbank’s beach passes were greatly appreciated as we spent a day climbing dunes and enjoying the beach with the kids. Many wineries and the Millennium bike path close by. Kids also had a blast at the park across the street while the adults admired the view. Thanks for the wine Richard! You are a good host, accessible and friendly. We loved your home: it’s nicely renovated and had everything we needed.

Beautiful house in a perfect location!
We were a party of 6 adults (50+) and we really enjoyed this house. This was our 14th season in Sandbanks and this is one of the great location we had. The location is very interesting: lot of restaurants, local brewery, small boutiques nearby. It tooks us 2 minutes to go to the grocery store. The house was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was fully stocked. The sound bar was great: we had very nice dinner with great music every night. The owner was easy to contact and super quick to react. Definitely recommend!
