Stay was fine since I had a car to access nearby restaurants and bars in Prestwick, but without available transport the catering and bar facilities are too limited.

The place was okay for the price but there was no pressure in bathroom water, we were promised that the problem would be resolved but it wasn't. We also received a parking ticket, no one informed us that there are places we couldn't park within the hotel premises.

Property is very tired .All rooms a scruffy with very poor maintenance.The WIFI. At this property is a joke as you have to pay for Wifi in your Room. This proves that all they seem to care about is £££ and not customer care or quality of service

As the Hotel is quite remote we expected to be able to relax in the bar on arrival (12.30pm)whilst waiting to check in at 4pm. Unfortunately only bar in a large hotel was in use for a wedding and closed to other guests. Our booking was for a twin room we were given a Double, on return to reception I was presented with another set of bedding which they expected me to change myself. Eventually we were allocated a different room. Overall the hotel served it's purpose and as a 3 star you can't expect too much, but a bar and the room we booked would have been a minimum.

Property in a beautiful location but very run down. Doesn’t appear to be enough staff to keep on top of basic things. There was a wedding in the main area so other hotel guests had to use a make shift bar in the restaurant. The outside area wasn’t very clean! Tables dirty and bins overflowing. Breakfast was very basic and definitely not worth £15 pp!

We stayed in a ground floor room. It was filthy. The shower could not be used as it was broken. The soap didh was encrusted with scum. There was no toilet roll holder. You were charged £7 for wifi and breakfast was not included. All for £109 per night. The grounds were covered in litter. Avoid! Complained to manager. I'll see if anything happens as a result.

Shower strength inadequate. Water faucet knobs inoperable. Soap dispenser empty and remained so after bringing this to staff’s attention. No Kleenex in room. Public restrooms not cleaned - toilet bowl filth present on arrival remained unchanged 3 days later. Avoid this place at all costs.
