"We have been coming to The Chestnut Inn for 29 years and are so happy that it is open again! We love the quiet setting of the beautiful lake and the great bands, too!! I wish that there were some more "simple" food options, rather than all the gourmet cuisine. We had people staying in the room above us and could hear them moving around a lot during the night, so they kept waking us up, and we had a loud sound machine. Maybe more floor padding instead of hardwood floors, would help to muffle the sound!! Thank you!! "

"I would highly recommend this cozy and comfortable apartment to anyone looking for accommodations in Waymart, PA. The hosts were quick to reply to any questions and made accessing the key an easy and uncomplicated experience. The place was immaculate and had a fully functional kitchen. Although I did not do any cooking during my stay (I was there to visit family), I would have been able to without any problem. There is a charming outdoor deck with a beautiful view of the lake - a perfect place to enjoy my morning cup of coffee. Two thumbs up!"

"The cabin was as good or better than described. Very comfortable, rustic with lots of wood, some interesting antiques, nice well-equipped kitchen, super comfy bed, great shower, relaxing front and rear porches. The site is the definition of quiet. The hosts are friendly, interesting and unobtrusive - as are their beautiful dogs. The farm animals also added a very nice element. Some interesting local "hole-in-the-wall" pubs and within an easy drive of the Delaware River and nearby towns including Hancock and Callicoon. We would definitely book the cabin again. It's a good value. "
