My room was nice (clean and comfortable) and had a nice balcony with a refrigerator, toaster oven, and basic eating utensils. The room also had AC but I used just the ceiling fann for all but the first night. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, offering me an early breakfast each day so that I could eat before diving. She also offered to act as my taxi (for an additional but reasonable fee) and I gratefully accepted. The breakfast was excellent - fruit, toast, and eggs, with juice and coffee. There are also restaurants for lunch and dinner within walking distance. The accommodation was excellent, and both the lady of the house and the staff made every effort to ensure our comfort. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming — it was a real pleasure to chat with them about anything and everything, including our plans for exploring the island. The place was spotlessly clean, the breakfasts were fresh and tasty, and the linens and towels were always fresh as well. The evenings and nights were perfectly quiet, allowing for restful sleep. Any questions or needs we had were quickly taken care of — often with just one call from the lady to the right person. One amazing bonus: we were allowed free access to Anse Georgette, the most beautiful beach on the island, which usually belongs to a five-star resort and is not easily accessible to the public. The host was so friendly and helpful and the place so clean and well kept. The rooms are well equipped and spacious, with plenty of surface and hanging space for towels and clothes.
