Equipped with lounge chairs and an outside table, the swimming pool area is the perfect place to start your day! The apartment is equipped with all comfort, including air conditioning, free Wifi and Smart TV. (Please make sure to read the whole listing description!) THE APARTMENT \- 2 bedrooms with a double bed (twin beds are possible upon request in one bedroom) \- a livingroom with a sofa-bed (bed size: 107x180 cm) \- 2 bathrooms with shower \- a kitchen with dining area \- a terrace with a gorgeous view of the sea \- garden area with outside shower, table and chairs and lounge chairs. \- Private swimming pool & Garden at lower level (from April to October). The house is situated in a comfortable location, 5 minutes walking to useful shops, restaurants and the bus stop and 600-metres away to La Gavitella Beach (steps). Wifi Internet Connection is available and free of charge. Tastefully furnished, the apartment has been recently renovated and can host up to 5 people. The livingroom spacious and bright. It is equipped with a table with chairs, a sofa bed, a tv, a fireplace, a window with sea view and the access to the terrace and to the kitchen. Air-conditioning. The kitchen is cozy and full equipped with a gas cooker, a fridge, a freezer, a oven, a microwave oven, a dish washer, a washing machine, a toaster, a boiler, American Coffee maker and other little home appliances. There is a window. The room is air-conditioned. The first bedroom is spacious and furnished with a double bed and a window with sea view. It's air-conditioned. The second bedroom has a double bed(that we can separate upon request) and a window overlooking the garden. Air-conditioning. The bathrooms are accessible from the corridor. The first bathroom has got a double wash basin, a shower, a toilet and a hair dryer; the second bathroom features a wash basin, a shower, a toilet and a small window. The terrace faces the sea and the Coast from Positano up to Capri and its Faraglioni. It's equipped with a ceramic table and 4 chair as well as deckchairs to relax outside. The garden is equipped with a BBQ, outside shower, table with chairs and lounge chairs. On the lower level, accessible by steps, there is a rectangular shaped pool with a semicircular entrance and measures 3mtx5mt in length and 1.40mt in depth. The swimming pool will be open from April to October. We'd like to welcome all guests, but because of steps (around 70 steps), we do not recommend to people with heart or mobility problems. The apartment is part of a complex of two apartments (the apartment below is occupied by my family and I, a friendly dog lives with us). You will have access to the entire upper apartment, to your private garden and swimming pool area. When possible, we will try to help you without being invasive. \*We are able to organize for you private Marriage Proposal and Wedding Vow Renewal\* !!PLEASE PAY ATTENTION!! Guests are kindly asked to communicate an accurate time of arrival closer to their dates in order to arrange the check-in. Extra Fees to be paid on the spot: \- City tax 3,00€ per person per night, for a maximum of 7 nights. Children under 10 years complimentary. \- Late Check-In: €20 \- Parking on request (to be booked in advance). Check-in from 4:30pm to 9:00pm. Later and earlier check-in must be agreed in advance. Check-out before 10am. Location: You can reach the house from the street level (the Coastal road, where the Sita bus runs) going down along a famous walkway of about 200 metres - situated below the main Church- that includes approx. 70 steps in total. You don't need a car for your stay here. You will be walking distance to many kind of shops such as grocery stores, bars, delicious restaurants, information office, pharmacy, hairdresser, butcher, ceramics and souvenirs shop, so on.. If you have a car we can reserve a parking space, for a fee, to be booked in advance. A few minutes walking from the house there are restaurants, bars, grocery shop, tabacchi shop, butcher shop, pharmacy. All SITA buses stop in Praiano and, in addition, there is a small bus run by the Mobility Amalfi Coast company which travels between Praiano and Positano quite often. The closest beach is La Gavitella, a beautiful spot worth the nearly 300 stairs to reach it. The water is crystal clear and with astonishing colors. The view of the shoreline and the mountains is breathtaking. In many restaurants in Praiano the seafood is caught fresh on the day and served on charming pottery from Vietri. But the coast’s most important product is the lemon which here grows sweeter than elsewhere and for this reason it is used to prepare the famous "limoncello liqueur". ## Property amenities ### Beach - Wonderfully located, easy access to buses and taxis It is a walk from the square with a number of ramps and steps. The private pool area is exceptional. The beds were incredibly comfortable the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make a couple of wonderful meals. The hosts were responsive friendly and accommodating. It was the perfect place and the view of positano and the bay were incredible. The sunset from the balcony was a must every night. Quite honestly with the pool and the views you could be very content just spending the week here - and we did take advantage of this beautiful property on our families bucket list trip to the Amalfi coast. They allowed the kids to pet him. The pool was another excellent amenity as we spent a lot of time there as a family. Benedetta, helped us with everything and anything we needed. My husband and I wanted to renew our wedding vows at the villa and Benedetta organized every detail from the celebrant to the photographer. She also organized a fishing trip for us in Positano. The family that own it take such care of the property, it has so much love and care poured into it shows everywhere. They also are really excellent at looking after you without being intrusive at all. We had a fabulous holiday and would jump at the chance to go again. The property is down by the cliff front, so if you cannot do stairs dont risk it. But if you can do stairs the view is so amamzing, we loved it even in the one thunderstorm we had. 100% recommend to stay here. We loved this villa! Casa Incanto is perfectly situated in Praiano with a great view of Positano and the Amalfi coast facing the Island of Capri. Sunsets are Georgia’s. It is quiet and has every amenity you could ask for. Also the bathrooms and the kitchen have been updated since the photos were last taken and they are spectacular. The pool and patio as well as the outdoor dining and grilling area are so wonderful. Everyone on the team that we interacted with from Bernadetta and Mena to Valerie were all so kind. We had to pinch ourselves when we walked in the door of this beautifully appointed apartment. The entire front faces the Tyrrhenian Sea with many windows and a balcony area to sit, relax and drink coffee in the morning or just watch the sunset. Benedetta was great and provided access to local tours, parking and restaurants. Loved every minute of our stay! Enjoy the town as it is lovely and not as crazy with tourists like Positano. The property was amazing. Such a beautiful space and what a view. The recent bath and kitchen upgrades are gorgeous. We cannot say enough about our time here. Benedetta and Valery were so helpful and responsive. They went above and beyond in setting up private car transfers. They were even able to reschedule our private boat tour last minute due to bad weather- this was the highlight of our trip! The pictures do not do this property justice- the pool, grounds, and view are truly spectacular. My teenagers never wanted to leave. The apartment is spacious and very well appointed. May 3, 2019 #### Spectacular in every sense of the word This was a magical location - yes there are 70 steps from street level so not for mobility impaired but Benedetta even had porters for our luggage which was a very nice touch! It was clean and just perfect. Two good sized bedrooms with views and 2 full bathrooms made this the perfect place for 2 couples traveling together. The balcony is the best part - the views are indescribable and each day we could not believe how beautiful it was and what a great location we were in! We walked to dinners most nights and enjoyed the town of Praiano yet were close for car service to Ravello, Amalfi and the Path of the Gods (Benedetta recommended the BEST guide ever for the Path - was almost my favorite part of the week). Benedetta was amazing to work with - provided everything we asked for even arranging last minute car service one day for an unplanned excursion. She was as wonderful as the location. The house was clean, bright and airy. The pool was my daughters’ (age 8 and 11) favorite. We traveled as a 3-generation family of 6, and had the most wonderful stay. Praiano (or Vettica Maggiore, as this is actually located) is the perfect location: not a crowded tourist hub (like Praiano or Amalfi) but still with having everything you need: morning coffee and Bar de Sole, numerous excellent restaurants (many with rooftop or terrace views—others as casual as to have delicious take out pizza), a market to buy your needs to cook your own meals (which we did several times) and a tourist office and tobacco shop (from which to buy SITA bus tickets—bus stop 7 is right there). The sound of church bells gently fills the air...and the smell of jasmine lingers. The view is unbeatable, with a Positano and Capri right ahead of you from the pool or terrace. Benedetta couldn’t have been a more gracious host. From the lovely basket awaiting us at check in, to the porters to carry our bags up and down and check in and check out, to the birthday gift she gave my daughters after learning it was my younger daughter’s 8th birthday when we were staying—everything was thought of. She also arranged our transportation to and from the airport, as well as to Pompeii and Capri (both are must-dos!) We were steps away from the best beach in the area; La Gavitella. Yes, it was 200 steps but worth it. In fact, the only reason to not stay here would be if steps were difficult for you. (However if that’s the case, the entire Amalfi coast will prove difficult for you.) In summary, if you’re traveling to the Amalfi coast, consider yourself lucky if you can stay at Casa Encanto.
