Gaze out from the terrace over the pastel-hued houses that climb the hillside, and across to the glittering water. Positano’s main beach is just 10 minutes away on foot, and all the main amenities of the town, including restaurants, shops and travel connections, are close by. A flight of 42 steps leads from the road to the villa and directly onto the terrace. Whilst exclusive to Casa Laura, the terrace is also used by the people on the top floor of the house (private accommodation) to access their property. The terrace has wonderful sea views and is furnished with a table and chairs for alfresco dining, and a bench. Extending over 123m², the villa is equipped with air conditioning and welcome extras such as mosquito nets in the bedroom. On the lower level, a living/dining room provides sofa seating, a dining table for six and a large-screen TV. From here, an archway leads into a well-equipped kitchen, with plenty of storage space and everything you need to prepare a delicious Italian lunch! The property listing was accurate and met our expectations. We were greeted by a host who showed us how to get from the street to the property (up the 47 steps). The rooms matched the description online and were clean. The complimentary espresso packets were a nice touch. We only used the basics during our short stay (Bedrooms and Bathrooms) we did not use any appliances or cook while we were there but everything looked great. The wifi and A/C worked well for us. The one small room with the twin bed does not have a A/C unit but that did not impact our stay. The walk to/from the water was not bad, but you do need to be in reasonable shape to make the 500 stair trek everyday. There are restaurants very close to the property for all meals. We would recommend this property to a group or a family that needs 3 bedrooms. ##### Marty R.
