![Belem Tower is located in the town of Bethlehem, county and district of Lisbon in Portugal. On the right bank of the Tagus river, where there was once the beach of Bethlehem, it was originally surrounded by water around its perimeter. Over the centuries it was surrounded by the beach, even today incorporate the land.

One of the "ex libris" of the city, the monument is an icon of architecture of the reign of Manuel I of Portugal, in a synthesis between the tradition menagemde medieval tower and baluartemoderno where it had artillery pieces.

Over time the tower lost its defense function of the Tagus bar and, from the Philippine occupation, old barns gave way to the dungeons. "ne correspond en rien au standing d abritel,le bungalow etait très sale je n ai jamais rien vu de tel chez vous ,la piscine etait obsolete abimé par endroit avec une eau trouble qui laissait a desiré...dans la description rien ne précisait qu il y aurai des jeux gonflable pour enfant avec une turbine qui soufflait juste devant notre bungalow, j ai fait 1500 KM pour ça , je ne passerai plus par abritel ..."

"Fantastic hotel. The room is modern and spotlessly clean. Amazing shower. Perfect location next to two beautiful plazas and within walking distance of the castle and the triumphal arch. Staff are friendly, professional and helpful. Miguel delivered a beautiful cake for my birthday and recommended a lovely restaurant for dinner. The staff at check in and check out we're helpful and friendly and made the experience a pleasure. The custard tart and port at check in was much appreciated. The lady on check out spotted my fellas Monty Python T-shirt which was lovely. "
