"Location is far from any amenities which was ok for us as we knew this in advance and have a car. Often there is a nice trade off between amenities and peace and quiet, but there are lots of dogs on properties around the house, that bark mindlessly when someone walks past, making it not very peaceful. "Very pleasant apartment, with everything brand new. We were welcomed by Mrs. Perpétua and her son, who are very friendly hosts. Just a 2-minute walk from the center, with a Pingo Doce supermarket right next door. We will definitely come back. Note: Bathroom the size of the bedroom (fantastic). Only downsides: the bedroom has no window, although there is one right in front of the bedroom door, and the car can't reach the apartment entrance (access is on foot only)."

"Vila Baleira ist ein wirklich sympathischer und schöner Ort. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem größeren Komplex. Von den Fenstern aus hat man eine tolle Aussicht auf das Meer und den Ort. Sie ist großzügig geschnitten und gut ausgestattet. Besonders in der Küche findet man alles, was man braucht. Die Lage ist eigentlich gut. Wenige Minuten zur Seebrücke und zum Supermarkt. Der Balkon geht zu einer Nebenstraße raus, die leider tagsüber sehr laut ist."

"really enjoyed the stay, the dorm rooms are comfortable with privacy curtains, small fan and light in the bed, the bathroom was clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There is a shared kitchen with a good range of utensils. The property is secluded to one end of the island so either you need to catch the bus, take a taxi or go on a long walk to get to anything but the proximity to the beach is amazing and being on the other end of the island it is a perfect getaway, there is 1 restaurant in the area (next to the beach) they serve great food so you're never really missing out if you're looking for a relaxing stay. It would be good to have breakfast included in the price point of this accommodation as they charge 10 euro extra but it isn't a deal breaker. I highly recommend this property if you're visiting Porto Santo"
