Truly right on the river, but at the extreme western end of the Cais da Ribeira, so noise was never a factor. If you want to stay on the Ribeira, this is THE perfect apartment. Great starting point to explore the many site Porto has to offer. A beautiful Fado restaurant was literally feet from our door. We got to sit looking out our second-story balcony enjoying a nighttime view of Gaia., truly beautiful. This apartment made our visit to Porto more than we could have expected. ##### Brian C. We could get to any location in the city easily. The apartment had all the amenities one would want but a few notes need to mentioned. The place needs a good scrub esp in the bathroom. Also, it needs to be mentioned that no personal cars can come down the street at all. So one must be prepared to carry luggage.
