I loved this place! So quaint, very clean, breakfast was very nice! Loved it!!! Only downside was road noise, but I’m a country girl, so any night noise is loud. Windows did have shutters that helped! This place is close to everything. Would highly recommend!!

One of the nicest rooms I have stayed in. Great character with modern and rustic design, and always a bonus having a kitchenette with fridge. The location means you are a stones throw from the river and its bustling dining and tourist culture. The only negative is being located on a main road, however there is air con and window shutters to help manage the noise especially at night. The cafe is very good for breakfast also. Highly recommended.

Great location and very nice view. Just to let people know you may have to climb a few flights to get to your room. Very pleasant people run the hotel. Delicious breakfast.

The place is great however, there’s NO elevator and you have to carry all your stuff up. We staid on the 4th floor which meant 8 flights of stairs. Is not my ideal place to stay considering the town Also is very noisy it is right next to a tunnel and the car’s hunk all day n night the city trucks start work at 7:30 am You can hear the other guests go up n down the stairs. Some people are okay with that it was hard for us. Even though we had help for the person downstairs when we arrived.

Fantastic guest house in the heart of Ribeira
Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location. Transport to and from airport arranged together with an amazing trip up the Douro valley with wine and port tasting and a great meal at a local restaurant. Good selection of wines and snacks. Fantastic value for money…….the staff really went the extra mile!

I just loved my suite, mini kitchen and bathroom...loved the wood floors and big windows....its right by the tunnel so a bit noisy at night but i definitely would stay there again!
