My family and i recently stayed at the Hotel Dom Henrique and we had an amazing time. The costomer service is outstanding from the moment we arrived you are greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. The facilities were very classy and the views from the bar/lounge and restaurant are amazing. Our room was spacious and very nicely designed, warm tones, dim lighting and very clean. Thank you for your great hospitality, we would highly recommend this Hotel.

The roof top restaurant was fantastic. Grilled octopus was awesome. Fork tinder, literally could cur wth a fork. Delicious. Very friendly staff. Would definitely say again.

Convenient to get around the city although it is located at a corner. Good view of the city from the rooftop bar.

I felt it was ridiculous to charge 1 euro per coffee capsule when I asked for a couple. For 2 people 3 nights we got 2 caffeine type coffee. Seems quite petty and not appropriate

Very convenient to go everywhere, hotel centrally located, the suite is very functional. Thing don’t like was the shower, because water is easy to get outside the floor

Very impressed with the hotel. The family room was perfect for our needs and the restaurant and bar were great. The staff were also extremely helpful.

The Dom Henrique downtown hotel was excellent. First off, they accepted our luggage when we arrived several hours early. The staff deserves 5 stars for professionalism and friendliness. The room was pristine. We had a lovely view of the city. I would highly recommend.

Comfortable hotel with plain but good quality room decor, spacious rooms with occasional balconies, good although small bathrooms, and a star restaurant & bar. Slightly off the busiest tourist drag, so quieter and good value, but still convenient for most things in Porto. Accordingly, it’s my favourite reasonably priced hotel in this city.

Just okay...
Location was awesome. Can walk to many restaurants and touring locations. Hotel was clean but seemed quite old. Hallways dark brown walls and dark carpeting which was creepy. Air freshener pumped into lobby area was overwhelming. Breakfast buffer was very good. Went to bar area at sunset. Outside bar area very small and no seats available. Asked bartender if could go up to roof area and was told can only go there if eating. So stayed where we were by the bar for 15 to 20 minutes and no one came to our table to take our drink order so we left. Overall experience was just so so...

I highly recommend this hotel
This hotel had a great location, ammenities but especially the staff. They also went above and beyond to help me when my phone went missing and the staff helped to look for it and helped me locate it. I would absolutely stay there again.

On the whole it was a nice stay however some of the staff were aloof and unfriendly towards my friend and I. The service in the lounge could have been a bit bettrr but it appeared to be understaffed for the # of patrons at the time. A part of my friends order ended up on another patron's table for about 10 minutes and THEN given to our table~it should have been reordered and that one left with the other patrons. Food safe!! But, I would go back and stay for the location...room comfort.

Hotel is easy to find from metro station and is simple to get to from the train station. There are lots of great food options within walking distance to and from the hotel. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and the staff thoughtfully prepared a bottle of wine & some sweets for us after we arrived which was very much appreciated! The room was very spacious and clean. Highly recommend!
