About this property
Spectacular Views & Comforts of Home in Portland s Most Desirable Neighborhood
Windows with massive water & city views from the kitchen, dining and living areas, and 360 degrees from your private roof deck. Enjoy Portland`s bustling harbor over your morning joe or evening glass of wine. Stroll the East End, w/our gorgeous Eastern Promenade, excellent restaurants, grocers, baked goods, coffee. Take a short walk downtown to shop in the Old Port, and choose from all of Portland`s award-winning restaurants. Like to cook? Fully equipped kitchen!
This private apartment is a wonderful space for a couple, two couples or small family exploring Portland. The master bedroom has a new queen bed, and there`s a second sleeping space available for extra guests in the living room where a comfortable futon easily folds down to accommodate two.
The East End is Portland’s ‘little Brooklyn’, the hip neighborhood just a short walk into the Old Port or downtown. Our neighborhood is home to our huge park the Eastern Prom, East End Beach, the waterfront walking/biking/running trail, the Observatory, the 4th of July fireworks, the summer concerts in the gazebo, as well as some of Portland’s favorite restaurants & markets.
There’s off-street parking for one car & plentiful free street parking right out your door. We recommend walking (10-20 mins depending on destination) or taking a 3-5 minute Uber if heading into town for dinner. HOUSE RULES

We enjoyed our holiday stay in Portland! Our home away from home provided a well stocked kitchen and spacious dining area. The views of Portland were lovely and the shower pressure was outstanding.
Perfect location. The place had everything we needed to have a good time and relax. I miss it!The view was great. We enjoyed cooking and eating in family. I started the day with an expresso while reading at the terrace.
The apartment was fully equipped, comfortable and beautiful. The windows let in amazing sunlight and views. It was bright and airy! Plus we left something behind and the host mailed it back to us!
From booking to checkout, this is the best place we have ever stayed- for reference, we have stayed in over thirty VRBO homes around the globe.
Information about check in was clear and prompt. The apartment was well stocked, beautiful & immaculately clean.
Beautiful property, spotless, well appointed, comfortable bed, great water pressure. Views of bay are stunning from large windows. Roof deck is phenomenal. Feels a bit like being in a tree house. High price but worth every cent.
Came to town for a family visit with our 3 kids under 10. The apartment is incredibly well stocked with cooking and hosting furnishing. From the deck you can see all of the bay and watch ships coming in over coffee or happy hour. The location is great with a quick walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Kathy and caretaker Nikoline were great hosts and answered any questions we had quickly.
We enjoyed a few nights at this wonderful property to kick off spring break with 2 teenagers. The space was so relaxing! I wish we could have stayed longer to cook in the amazing kitchen. We did however enjoy many espressos and coffee drinks. The rooftop deck was a neat space to hang out and watch the boats go by. We explored the neighborhood and pretty much walked everywhere. Overall perfect spot for our group as everyone had a great time. Thanks so much for having us!
My husband and I came for a long weekend, and the apartment was very clean, warm and cozy. Host was very responsive. The furnishings were tasteful, and we loved the beautiful view of the water. We spent our days exploring and enjoying amazing food. Highly recommend The Ugly Duckling for breakfast, lunch/dinner, Duckfat, Gilbert’s Chowder House, Andy’s Old Port Pub, Ri-Ra's Irish Pub and Scales for a classy dinner—everything was spectacular. Dont forget to stop in the Fish Market! We also took a trip to Acadia National Park. It was a long day, but absolutely worth it for the incredible views. Thank you for a wonderful stay and a great trip!
My daughter and I recently spent the weekend at this property. It was a great neighborhood that was quiet with a few coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment was decorated very nicely and lots of room to spread out. And if you like coffee, there were many different styles to prepare your favorite beverage. Everything went smoothly from booking to check out at this property and I highly recommend it to soemone who wants a Maine getaway! Just remember though if you have someone with a dsiability in your party, the apartment is a third floor walk up.
We appreciate that this 2 bedroom one bath apartment felt like an actual home with beautiful mid century furniture, fabulous textiles, rugs and art, and a fully stocked kitchen. Much of the apartment is of the highest quality, from the dishes to the washer and dryer to the bedframes and kept in excellent condition. The views from the windows and rooftop deck are a treat. Everything in Portland is walkable and this apartment is in the east end Munjoy neighborhood. The parking came in handy as well. We also were thankful for umbrellas and other little details like instructions for the washer and dryer and easy to follow check put guide.
The hosts were attentive and easy to deal with. We would absolutely stay here again!
Great host and very clean, comfortable stay! We all wished we would have had more time here and loved every bit of our stay. Sunrise on the rooftop deck, city lights up there at night. It was wonderful! We hope to return someday!
Just right location & accommodations for parents & college kids weekend. Close to observatory, promenade, restaurants. Plenty of room& light, despite some storms. Stairs might me challenging for some. Expresso machine a big hit!
Portland never disappoints... apartment was great and so was dealing with property manager. The only thing I'd change was the ability to walk into the main part of town.
Beautiful place with great views and rooftop patio. Perfect location that is within walking distance to Old Port. Beds were comfortable and there is a spacious kitchen and living room. Host was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend!
Kathy's place in the Munjoy Hill neighborhood was great. We really enjoyed the apartment and it's location. She communicated better than any host we've used on VRBO and really went above and beyond to make our stay as easy as possible. Highly recommend using her as a host.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this property. We were in Portland for an anniversary weekend getaway, and this was a perfect spot. The location was fantastic - it was easy walking distance from most everything we wanted to do. The property was in great condition and was clean, comfortable, and had a nice ambience and decor. We (and our pup, who came with us) spent a good bit of time on the roof deck, which had some really nice views and was a lovely place to relax. Would definitely stay here again!
Loved our stay here. The unit was very clean and had everything and more that we needed. Loved the layout, decor was beautifully done with very comfortable beds and linens and awesome kitchen. Rooftop deck is such a great extra, loved sitting up there and the views were beautiful. Location is good, nice quiet neighborhood. Kathy was such a great host. Her communication was timely, informative and clear. One of our all time favorite stays!
We loved this apartment, it's so comfortable, bright and cozy. I wish I lived there :) Great location, walk anywhere and eat at great restaurants. Enjoy wine on the roof patio or cook in the well-stocked kitchen. Highly recommend for a dreamy getaway.

Anniversary perfection!
Before we even got to Maine, our introduction to 62 views was wonderful! Our host Kathy gave us a comprehensive description of all of the good restaurants, breweries/distilleries, sights and things to do. This was a great guide! Check-in was easy, and there was free parking. The neighborhood was walking friendly and beautifully situated on desirable Munjoy Hill, overlooking Portland-gorgeous! The apartment was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It rained one of the days we were there, and it was a very cozy respite to come ‘home’ to at the end of the day. What a wonderful getaway! We love Portland, and when we return, I’ll be calling Kathy! Thanks again!
