Me and my girlfriend traveled for the Afro nation festival sow we needed a place “close”to the praia da Rocha beach I must say the the staff were friendly and polite also any problems we had that we voiced were taken care of for the most part I still recommend that the place modernize itself because you can see that it’s decor is from the late 90’s

The staff at the front desk and in the bar/restaurant really are amazing people. They are very focused on Customer Service. The breakfast was fantastic and we enjoyed the evening buffets.

The hotel was everything we expected and more. Arrived around 2 we were happy to sit by the pool but our room was ready. The staff are so friendly and informative. They all seemed to enjoy their jobs working with smiles on their faces.

A price to far.

Extremely over priced for a very poor quality hotel. I would love to know where it gets its 4 star rating from. As for the jacuzzi and indoor pool! Wear a pool cap you would need a body suit for the jacuzzi which had a layer of scum around the whole bath and the water itself was extremely cloudy. Me and my partner will certainly not be back. Seven hundred plus euros for 4 nights bed only? Breakfast advertised on hotels.com at 4€ when the real charge was 12.50€ Tchau for good.

There was lots of space in our senior suite ... a very nice balcony. The rooms are old looking and could use an update. Good location to the beach (Praia do Vau) and it was a nice beach. There was a kitchen but not dish cloth and no soap. Was good value for was we paid.

The stay was fine. It was walking distance from the beach area. The staff were very helpful. I was a little disappointed in the room, in that it had worn out couch and chair, the kitchen refrigerator smelled like fish and was broken, the shower was out of date. The breakfast was very good and the pool was very enjoyable. All in all, with furnishing updates I would stay there again.

A wonderful location for a relaxing holiday

We spent five amazing days at the Interpass Vau Hotel. We couldn’t believe the standard of accommodation and facilities for the price we paid. The Junior Suite with balcony overlooking the sea was perfect for this length of stay. The breakfast offered lots of choice and the staff were always courteous and helpful. The location, only ten minutes’ walk from Vau beach and about hall an hour from Praia da Rocha, was just right. The one negative was that the bed was a bit too firm for me but the housekeeping staff did their best to address this and I ended up putting pillows on top of the mattress, which made it comfy enough. All in all, we had a great stay at this hotel and hope to return in the future.

The room was large and with lots of facilities, with a nice balcony overlooking the sea, small kitchen and fridge. The staff were helpful and friendly and could all speak English. It was only a 5 minute walk from the beach. The only thing that let it down was by the neighbourhood: a public recycling facility across the road was noisy with loads of litter, and a neighboring residential block had a dog barking at all hours. The bed mattress could have been a little less lumpy. The breakfast buffet was amazing and dinner very tasty, loads of choice. The outdoor pool was fantastic. Overall, we'd stay there again and would recommend to others.

Not worth your money, not even 3 stars

We decided to eat at the restaurant only to find out that there was only a buffet at 20€ each, no choices (potatoes and rice) nothing was fresh (you could see the eggs turning grey) … I could have eaten better at a fast food. The hotel is not even close to a 3 star : walls insulation non existent (I heard a couple fighting and babies crying) pillows were so old that the feathers turned into crusty bit inside. The hotel has been built in the 80s and hasn’t been refurbished since then. The indoor pool needs ppl to wear a cap charged at 4€ each. The breakfast is a buffet too but you can’t ask for fried eggs on a scramble day eggs and vice versa - never seen this!

Tolles Hotel, etwas abseits vom Trubel, was uns aber letzten Endes total gefallen hat. Sehr nettes Personal, sehr leckeres Essen, und alles sauber. Die Zimmer sind etwas altmodisch, aber sehr geräumig und groß. Der Pool ist ziemlich klein, aber zum Abkühlen und kurze Bahndn schwimmen ok. Es war auch nie wirklich überfüllt, man hat immer eine Liege bekommen. Tolle Poolbar mit leckeren relativ günstigen Snacks. Es war ein toller Erholungaurlaub! Zum schönen Strand läuft man ca. 10 Minuten, leider ist das Meer sehr kalt. Abends gibt es wunderbare Sonnenuntergänge! :-)

Die Zimmer sind sauber und sehr groß, der Balkon mit Meerblick ein Traum. Wir hatten zwar nur Frühstück gebucht, da gabs nix zu meckern. Von Rührei bis Lachs war alles dabei. Alle 2 Tage konnte man sich bei der Rezeption neue Badehandtücher holen. Man sprach englisch, sollte kein Problem sein. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren zu Fuß erreichbar, Lidl und Aldi nur 5Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Tipp: Mietwagen buchen!
