"Could've used a working ice maker since there is no refrigerator in the rooms. Room was cleaned well. But missing small things like the toilet paper roller. And my key card I had to have reprogrammed at least once a day. However my dog was welcome with no extra fees and it was the right price definitely."

"The resort has a retro, vintage feel with a timeless appeal. The room was clean and comfortable, with a spectacular balcony view of the ocean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The resort is within walking distance of shops and restaurants, and the spa services are top rate."

"This is the fourth time i've stayed here when visiting home and every time it it turns into an amazing experience. The hotel is extremely clean.The staff are very friendly and despite being right off ninety five, the window views of south florida are not dismal. They have the best breakfast bar and delicious coffee. If I could offer any improvements, it would be that the pool appeared to have a lot of debris in the bottom and was not cleaned once in the few days we were there. Although that could have been due to the occasional rainstorms coming in. Other ways, this is a great place to stay and I will continue to book here in the future."

"We have never stayed at Capt Hirams before but always wanted to and it did not disappoint. The staff was helpful. The location can't be beat. The proximity to water, restaurants (multiple up and down the river) was perfect. I stayed over 4th of July with my teen son and it was a great family friendly option. The pool is small but very clean. Our room hadn't been vacuumed or our side tables cleaned when we arrived but the staff took care of it right away the next morning. Be aware, if you are flying in late, let them know or they do close out your reservation as a no show. We called and the staff explained and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. I will be staying here again!"

"An excellent choice for accommodation. Room was clean and well equipped particularly the kitchen area. The location is quite remote and lacking nearby bars and restaurants. You definitely need a car and there is plenty of parking. The swimming pool was beautiful and well maintained. Altogether a very pleasant place."
