"Nice beach, pools are good. Rooms are a little dated, and the villa specifically felt both poorly laid out and just not that clean or well maintained. We spent one night in the hotel and that room was nicer. Overall my family had fun, but I don’t think we’ll be back."

"There wasn’t anything I came across that needed immediate attention other than the commode tank was awfully warm the water intake was hot… I reported it, seems they may have had repair done and the hook up is wrong… they said they’d have someone come look but no one came… it wasn’t affecting our stay and I did report it. I am not going to chase that it was reported. That’s on them."

"Our room was very nice. The restaurant staff were friendly and breakfast was good. The overall property was not great. The pool was overrun by screaming children. Too few chairs for the number of guests. Surly staff. Simple requests were not filled. Room was not cleaned thoroughly. "

"Two comments: 1- About the room, it was very comfortable and quiet during the night. Just one recommendation to keep improving. There were some dust behind the TV table, next to the 120V power split that connects a few devices(microwave, fridge and the TV ) 2- We (my wife and myself) were very well impressed with the front desk attendant's proactiveness during our check in. She followed us to the room to make sure that it had all the appliances and that they were working well. We made a quick check on everything and she went back to the front desk. Great job Mrs.(I don't have her name)."

"Such a great spot for a short stay.. affordable, comfortable, and very well-kept. The building itself is a bit older, but everything is clean and clearly well maintained. You can hear a bit of noise from outside at times, but nothing that felt disruptive, though I imagine it could be a little busier during peak season. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the reception area feels fresh and updated. A highlight for me was the restaurant, Lola on the water, delicious food, a beautiful pool, and a relaxing canal view that really elevates the experience. Only 5 min walk to Pompano Beach! Overall, I’d rate it a solid 9/10. A great choice if you’re looking for a charming independent hotel."

"The location of the property was perfect, but it’s not truly a 3 bedroom more like a 2 bedroom. We had some communication issues with check in, and Vrbo support was very delayed, which caused confusion. Also, the listing includes items in the photos (like bikes) that were not actually available. We didn’t end up using the pool since the ocean water was much warmer. Other than that, it was a good home base for what we needed since we didn’t spend much time at the house."

"This was our second year renting this house for a month. It is one of the best we have ever stayed at. The house is better than advertised, walking distance to the beach and local bars, restaurants, and the Publix. Stacy and John are great hosts who cannot do enough for you. The kitchen is well-stocked, the place is modern and immaculate, and the outside tiki hut and pool space are heaven."

"This place is wonderful! Yes, it is a small studio, but it won’t disappoint. It is very well equipped for a comfortable living. Having a washer/ dryer in the studio was a big plus. Enough of storage place, despite the size. Appliances are up to date, kitchen is fully equipped - all stuff is useful and in great shape - pots, pans, knives. Publix is 4 min drive. If you aren’t cooking there are plenty of places to eat around. Very convenient location, close to everything. Beach is 5 min walk. There are beach chairs and an umbrella. We enjoyed the patio a lot. It is nice to sit and relax there at any time of the day. We also like that the studio has a keyless entry door. No loosing the keys on the beach! Susie, the host, is very responsive and accommodating. We were very grateful that she allowed us to check- in earlier and check- out later. We were spared from wondering around after we arrived from airport or before we left to airport. I highly recommend this studio and its host, Susie, to anyone willing to have a careless vacation in Pompano beach area. "
