![Founded in 588 BC, Apollonia was a significant trading port and cultural centre for about 50,000 people, many of whom settled here from nearby Corfu.

Today the site is still undergoing excavation so there isn't tons and tons to see.

"A great hotel with nice staff and good location. The bus stops right outside. Also a really nice restaurant with great view where the breakfast was served and they had a bar open in the evening. I had a lovely stay here and I would recommend it for everyone going to Vlorë. "

![Founded in 588 BC, Apollonia was a significant trading port and cultural centre for about 50,000 people, many of whom settled here from nearby Corfu.

Today the site is still undergoing excavation so there isn't tons and tons to see.

"This accommodation was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and well situated. The bed was so comfy, and we appreciated having the sofa as an alternative to just sitting on the bed. Bathroom was spacious with an hot and powerful shower. Crisp linens and fluffy towels provided. Ample parking and a choice of nearby restaurants. The host was very friendly and hospitable. Having stayed in several accommodations throughout our stay in Albania, this one far surpassed all others yet we paid only a fraction of the price. I can highly recommend to anyone looking for the Vlore area. "

Decent hotel but need to sort the aircon

"A good value for money hotel and a convenient stopover on our way to the next destination. The room was spacious, breakfast had a nice variety, and we really enjoyed the pizza bar. The main downside was the air conditioning, although the unit was there, it barely made a difference and the room stayed uncomfortably hot"
