"The staff was very helpful but we were very disappointed about the overall condition of the hotel and rooms which were very tired and in the process of being renovated. The restaurant was closed as a consequence. We paid quite a lot for the room much more than was advertised locally and had no knowledge of the disruption. Nothing on Expedia. Will think twice about using Expedia again. Don't like being taken for a ride."

You'll find the main square, Place de la Mairie, with the historic town hall and several local shops and eateries. The streets branching off from here are generally quiet and well-kept, reflecting the town's history.

For couples looking for a relaxing getaway, staying in the town centre provides convenience and a taste of local life. For travellers who prefer warmer weather and don't mind more fellow visitors, July and August offer the highest temperatures, great for enjoying the local lakes and outdoor dining.
