"Our experience at Omstead’s on Erie was amazing, my friend, daughter and I are still talking about it. First off, the home was so well decorated, every carefully selected item has a story and the stories were amazing, all this with a great view of Lake Erie. Margo and Keith are great hosts, they provided us with many great local recommendations for dinner and Margo treated us to locally sourced fancy breakfasts. We will definitely be going back!"

"I would place it at a 3.5 stars. Clean, the bed was a little too bouncy for our likes, the bedding was somewhat overly warm, but to be fair the weather was rapitly changing & warming up (& they may be changing that) & lastly our toilet had a problem running every 3rd or so flush. For the most part you had to wait (pretty slow) so see if was ok & a jiggle & another wait to see if it actually sorted the problem. We reported it at check out. Hope they fixed it for the next guest. Very nice location if you want to be riverside, but just around the corner was the main drag which has seen better days. Check in was somewhat late & check out was somewhat early... Made things inconvenient, plus daily parking & no breakfast. In hindsight we might have picked something else if it hadn't been for the location. We were there for an off site event."

"This was our second stay for consecutive weekends for visiting both Rondeau Provincial Park & Point Pelee National Park. Staff were helpful and friendly, room was very clean & comfortable & the best part is that there was an actual bathtub not just a shower. If visiting I would recommend Teena,s restaurant opposite the hotel."

"The property’s location was great, it’s near to shops and restaurants. We love their breakfast. We also commend the staff, for their being nice and friendly, and for the excellent service. We just noticed the exhaust fan wasn’t working."
